I made out with girl in club, didn't F close, what could I have done differently?

I don't like inviting girls back for a drink unless I feel like the chemistry is solid enough where she's at the point that you could just say "let's hang out at my place" and she would say yes, without even needing an 'excuse.' Reason being: why have a drink at your place when she could have a drink at the club and have fun for another hour with other people, plus there's her ex who she probably wants to see what he's up to. I prefer tying in part of the emotional connection I've made with her so far to a reason why she should come back (pets work well for me for example). There's times where you can do pretty much everything right but the circumstances are out of your control.

Her ex was there? That's a red flag you should've seen the moment it was mentioned.

I'd say you got the sum of what you were getting that night. It sucks you had to deal with the hassle. Next time get her number and bail out rather than stepping in that situation.

Also, If he took your place and she didn't say anything you were probably a warm up at best.

The time constraint is very important. Say you have to be up early and she can only stay for a few minutes. Make it seem like she is just going to pop in for a minute then go. Say you will walk her back after. This puts her slut defence down.

So invite her back to see something you have talked about. Say she will really regret it if she doesn't see plus it will only take a minute. If she still says no look away and don't speak for 5 secs. Then look into her eyes say 'come' then put your hand out. Most girls will then follow you. Once you have her back the rest comes naturally.

If she still says no after you put your hand out don't get frustrated or annoyed just simply walk her back, ignore her and flirt with other girls. The jealousy will set in and she will want you.

Take baby steps to get her to your place. Tell her you're gonna go smoke, grab her hand, lead her outside the club. Say you wanna go for a walk. Your house is nearby, you can tell her you can show her that cool thing you talked about. It'll only take a minute, lead her inside, etc. etc.

It looks very slutty to just go to someone's place and she obviously doesn't want to look like a slut. Especially not in front of her friends.

You gotta form a rapport with the girl, where you find out what she is interested in doing. Once it is clear she wants to spend time with you alone, and get away from the ex (which may or may not have been the case), then you can form a plan with her to ditch him and get together.

Maybe it's her excusing herself to the bathroom and you meeting her there, or her going outside, you going to the bathroom and sneaking out to meet her.

However, if you aren't forming that rapport with the girl where you know whats going to happen, then you are blind sided like this.

So basically: more communication, enlist her help in ending up together, if that is what she wants.

God this whole situation is awkward as all hell. You're rubbing this chicks back as her ex was in the same house? I guarantee they were all talking to eachother about the creep that came over the next day.
