I don't see anything wrong with your list. In fact, I like that you're putting in the time to assess your overall progress. That said, the most effective use of time would be approaching girls. If you're not comfortable leaving tracks at your school, try approaching at the local junior college or state school.
But ya, you're not gonna be a man until you can walk up to any woman, introduce yourself and kino escalate. Fixing your teeth, getting buff, dressing nice, while good, are all immaterial.

Fixing your teeth, getting buff, dressing nice, while good, are all immaterial.
I know, but since these are the some of things that influence my confidence the most (the Bugs-Bunny teeth especially) I thought I should start from them. Walking up to women are getting easier and easier each time, but I still need to work on the kino. Probably these are the remains of the 'nice guy', but I will give my best.

Your number 2 stood out to me as you can also improve your social skills with it. Sign up to the gym, start going as many days as you can and your confidence will go sky high. You will start holding your self different, wanting to eat better, be more confident in groups and look better and just generally be healthier which will result in better skin.
I would stay away from those Seduction articles as I honestly think if you follow your own rules you've listed you wont have an issue, you can do everything you've put here and read online to practice but it will all rely on one thing. ASKING THE GIRL OUT - You will get shot down but damn, it's only a no, your not attracted to every girl so you can't expect them all to be attracted to you. Honestly I give you this one piece of advice... Kick a ball at a goal 1000 times, it's got to go in once. Try try try (without looking like a desperado) get confident and you'll get a girl, belive me. A little tip I use alot is if I want to get a girls number I will go have prepaired in my hand my number on paper, if she doesn't give me hers I will say "Ok then, take myne if you want to use it go for it if not then no biggy", I can't tell you the amount of girls who've refused to give me their number have texted me a few days after lol

I have somewhat similar sentences taped on my wall: "You are, what you think you are" - Unknown source "If you think you can or if think you can't, you are right on both cases" - Henry Ford (if I am not mistaken)

yeah, I agree. You can make you life so much more different if you just take your chances, yes you'll get disapointed but without a doubt you'll also get suprised aswell.

First, some housekeeping.
<Thou shalt put a link to [SR] here>
Stop using language like this, it's not doing you any favours.
Goals like:
are impossible to track, drop them or make them more specific, like the rest of your list.
I don’t drink/smoke/use drugs and never have and never will;
Why? (Genuinely asking here, doing none of these will handicap you in a social situation)
Next, good on you for wanting to make yourself a better person. Even better for making approachable goals, and ones that aren't revolving solely around picking up women.
The fitness and dressing related goals should be priority #1, do some research into how to find clothes that fit you well and work for your body shape. If you own a fedora, cut it into tiny pieces and throw it in the bin, for everyone's sake.
[ ] Remove sloppy dressing- go for smart-casual [ ] Two pair of jeans [ ] Two white t-shirts [ ] One pair of nice casual shoes [ ] Socks, socks, socks
[ ] Remove sloppy dressing- go for smart-casual
[ ] Two pair of jeans
[ ] Two white t-shirts
[ ] One pair of nice casual shoes
[ ] Socks, socks, socks
All of these can be knocked over in an afternoon. Do you know any guys who have a clue about fashion? Ask them where/how to shop if you do, or even to go along with you and give you a hand.
How do you dress now? How would you LIKE to dress? There's nothing wrong with wearing the type of clothes you're comfortable, but they have to match your personality and fit you well. A $100 shirt will still look like shit if it's too big for you.
You mentioned 'smart casual' - so what, like polos, button downs, etc? If you're in the US/Europe, lucky you, winter is coming, so while you're working on your fitness you can wear slightly bulkier clothing if weight is an issue for you and pull it off quite nicely.
Give me an idea of what you want to wear and I'll try my best to point you in the right direction. I'm feeling generous.
Fitness! Is there a gym near you? Gym's are awesome. Go read /r/fitness's FAQ's if you're totally lost, there's a wealth of information there to get you started. The most important thing to keep in mind is that this is a looooooooong term goal, and once you get started you'll keep wanting to improve forever. Take it slow, don't get too discouraged if you don't see massive changes overnight - they'll come with time.
You aren't going to have a six pack and massive biceps by the Christmas Party, but you WILL feel a million times better about yourself. Exercising is the best stress reliever of all time, you'll love it.
Lastly, I didn't notice any other hobby-related goals aside from video games (which is totally fine, I play probably too much DOTA). Is there anything else you like doing? Anything that you want to try, but haven't? Now's your opportunity!
Learn an instrument (bitches love classical guitar), take martial arts(100x this, discipline, motivation, exercise and camaraderie, what more could you ask for?), go rock climbing, anything you want.
The one rules I have for hobbies other than gaming, are they have to be challenging, and they have to demonstrate value. No point spending hours upon hours exclusively doing things that won't help you in life.
If you've got any questions, hit me up, I'd be happy to help. Good luck bro!

Yay, a constructive criticism. :) Thank you for your long reply.

Sorry, forgot to remove that. Was meant as a temporary replacement.
I don’t drink/smoke/use drugs and never have and never will; Why? (Genuinely asking here, doing none of these will handicap you in a social situation)
Never felt like one + principles. I only sip-taste drinks. Absence of alcohol is the concept I think.
Thank you, sir. When I said smart-casual, I meant sleeved shirt with a V-neck. I don't know the exact word in English, but here's a picture: link Basically the same clothing elements you would wear with a suit, but toned down a bit to match everyday life.
Exercising is the best stress reliever of all time, you'll love it.
I am not that hopeless :D. I have been doing Modern Pentathlon for 8 years or so. Not so much during my university time- I am getting little love handles, but 2 times per week in my university's gym and ~4 times swimming should fix this. And yes, i love it.
Learn an instrument (bitches love classical guitar), take martial arts /.../
I am currently playing guitar, hoping to find someone soon to take lessons from. That would cost me all my scholarship (56€), but it should be worth it. Of course, if I could find a girl who would teach me, that would be a double win :).

Have you ever been drunk? Just playing devil's advocate here, but it's fucking brilliant fun.
I meant sleeved shirt with a V-neck. I don't know the exact word in English, but here's a picture: link
Yeah, this is pretty much what I wear, except during summer. Be careful when buying though, sizing can vary greatly based on the "cut" of the clothes.
When you've got the hang of your sizing and body shape, you'll look one level higher than everyone else - not enough to be obnoxious, just enough to show you know what you're doing. I usually roll the sleeves, wear the top button undone, and go with blue or dark jeans with some quality shoes (DONT WEAR RUNNING SHOES UNLESS YOURE RUNNING SOMEWHERE).
You don't have to spend a ton of money on clothes, but as a general rule I won't buy any of my clothes from your average Kmart/Walmart/whatever your equivalent is. Go to a dedicated men's clothing shop and tell the salesperson what you're after, they'll be able to help you find something to suit. Don't be afraid to spend a little more on quality! It tends to be worth it to not have to deal with clothes that fall apart after one or two uses on crazy nights. Better yet, scope out what you like, then go buy when there's a sale on.
Same goes for jeans - don't be afraid to spend more (if your budget allows). I feel that going one or two price bracket higher than the budget models are sufficient, especially if you're going to be dropping waist size with more exercise anyway.
2 times per week in my university's gym and ~4 times swimming should fix this
This is awesome, great work. What are you doing when you're at the gym? If you're looking to pack on any serious muscle in a reasonable time frame, bumping it up to 3 days in the gym and following a set beginner's weightlifting program like Starting Strength or StrongLifts will work wonders for you. Swimming 4 times a week in addition, you'll be a monster in a year. Nutrition is a huge part of it too, calorie counting is essential, as is making sure you're getting enough protein to help with development and recovery.
I am currently playing guitar, hoping to find someone soon to take lessons from.
Youtube has you covered!! If it's going to cost you all your spare money, just watch other people play and watch a ton of tutorials, you'll pick it up soon enough. There's no replacement for a physical teacher but don't make yourself miserable by having no money left.

Well, straight answer is no. I get asked about it a lot and I usually answer that I have never felt it was necessary. It is a bit funny/derp standing around bunch of people who have no idea what they are doing or saying. *puts devil horns on Sometimes when some drunk fellow bugs me, I usually logically lead the conversation to a dead end or make the most of the moment. There was this one guy, who had been drinking so much, that he was only able to begin sentences, not finish them. So I spent next 10 minutes saying only "yes", "that is very interesting", "tell me more" over and over again when he stumbled or searched for right word. His friends were standing next to us, dying with laughter. I am not that evil, but the guy deserved it.
Coming back to the question, it has actually been a great conversational topic with girls and usually ends with them admitting trying to quit drinking/smoking too, but have never been able to. So far I have actually encountered more respect than I would have ever expected.
/.../your bunch of awesome tips/.../
Thank you very much, will definitely take these into account.
[–]euph0r1a 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Well, straight answer is no.
If you want to get with a vast majority of girls, you may have to change this. It's a social lubricant, it'll make talking to girls a hell of a lot easier, plus otherwise you'll be seen as "that guy who doesn't drink" (which is dumb, but it's a stigma nonetheless).
derp
Never ever ever say this again, written or verbally.
*puts devil horns on
This is 100% unnecessary and detracts from your credibility. You want to be treated like a man? Construct your thoughts like a man.
I usually logically lead the conversation to a dead end
You're missing the point. You aren't going to wow people with your decision to not drink. As far as I'm concerned, that's like expecting people to be impressed by you saying you're a virgin by choice because 'you've never felt it was necessary'.
usually ends with them admitting trying to quit drinking/smoking too
They're doing this to save face, guaranteed. No one who is polite will say "fuck you drinking rules!" (I would), so instead they go for the option that's more amicable. This is good in a way, they obviously care about your opinion of them enough to pretend to feel bad about destroying their bodies.
If you're adamant about not drinking, don't give them that kind of reason. Just make it up, like you're the designated driver, or that alcohol abuse runs in the family (maybe don't use this). Something that still gives you respect without bringing them down.
My advice? Go get drunk, even if it's by yourself. Call it a social experiment if you have to, and watch funny cat videos on youtube while downing a 6 pack/cheap wine/girly vodka drinks. One time is not going to kill you (I don't take responsibility if it does), but at the very least, you'll understand more about what makes clubbing/partying/drinking such a storied tradition. Vomiting isn't THAT bad.
And stop talking like a damn "gentlesir" or whatever, that shit makes people uneasy.

"that guy who doesn't drink" (which is dumb, but it's a stigma nonetheless)
Well, we could go on and on about this topic, but we will still remain to our different opinions. I totally understand what you meant and sometimes I have wished that I was drunk, but my belief and principles just wont allow me to cross that last line :).
That was brought as a very robust and extreme example how being sober can help maintain full situational awareness and adequate reaction.
And stop talking like a damn "gentlesir" or whatever, that shit makes people uneasy
You can only blame my English teacher for that. It was meant as a sincere gratitude towards a person who I am not familiar with. My apologies if that made you feel uneasy.

I think that is a good thing not to do drugs,BUT doing drugs will help you understand many things in life.Your first target should be getting drunk just dont overdo it.Now after that many people are going to disagree with me but i think trying mdma will help you a lot in many aspects of your life.I think that your not some stupid kid, you can search some stuff about drugs gather some info about them, people are afraid of them because of propaganda, dont be like them try different things learn from them allways be carefull.
That is so interesting point of view, but I still think I will stay faithful to my lucid dreaming and classic meditation. I'll see where it gets from there :) .
