Sparse messages to keep her interested and that you're alive. Something like recapping something exciting you did on that day with a bit of humor (usually a bit of exageration helps that). Nothing needy like hows her day, what shes up to etc.

trick is to take long to reply, so the conversation gets dragged out. Fortunately it's not dragged out because too much has been said, especially if you remember to cut it off at the peak rather than endlessly talk. end it with plans for when you next meet, and then don't contact them until you meet/check if they're still game
