So I'm studying and this chick is falling asleep reading a book. Her head bops a few times and I say with a smile "you're falling asleep" and we end up talking about movies and books for the next 20 or so minutes. She then goes back to her book.

I get a phone call and go away to answer, I need to leave now and tell her I'm going, saying it was nice talking to her and that we should catch a movie sometime. I think she hesitated or misunderstood what I was saying but I expected her to say yeah and then I would ask for her number but she said yeah I'm sure we'll see each other in the library again.

While we were chatting she asked me what my favorite book was and I said the Kama Sutra and she said hers was Lolita. I asked her why and she went on to explain what she loved about it. We showed each other cool movie trailers on YouTube, so I thought she was interested.

I do feel like my conversation skills weren't the best and I did feel intimidated as she seemed really intelligent and knowledgable.

So how come when I hinted at it she didn't wanna give me her number, or show that she wanted to meetup rather than leave it to a random chance meeting if I ever see her in the library again?
