Hey everyone. I've been lurking seddit for a while and am posting on a throwaway (because people I know found out my actual username). Here's the thing. I have a case of one-itis that I need to get rid of. I recently started Neil Strausse's "Rules of the Game" and got through day 1 (like I said, I started it VERY recently). I managed to use small talk with 5 people and for at least 4 of those I was under the influence. I plan to use this program as much as I can. However, living in a small town limits this for me (Although I may just be making excuses for myself because I feel like I'll keep running into people that I try to game).

I consider myself good-looking on a good day and believe that I can be confident and charming. I'm 22 and haven't had much luck with the ladies in the past. I think my main problem is that I'm the "nice guy" and don't escalate as much as I need to because I'm afraid of rejection/looking like an asshole/whatever excuse an AFC uses. I recently read "The Game" by Niel Strauss, which spurred me to buy "Rules of the Game" and to make this account.

I'm know there are people in this subreddit that have been in my position or are in my position now. Currently I am in need of reassurance that I CAN become the man I want to be and that I can learn how to interact with women and become attractive to them.

P.S. I'm a drunk AFC right now. I watched a girl I liked hit on another guy at the bar while I sat by and watched. If I had made my move at the right time that could have been me.

P.P.S. Not going to make that mistake again.
