Hey I've been a long time lurker and thanks to you guys have had tremendous results. Anyways I'll jump right into the problem. There's a girl who I've known for a few years that I know (through friends and just sensing it myself) has had a thing for me. She's absolutely stunning and has a fantastic personality. I never tried to date or anything in fear of catching feelings for her when everything I had been doing in my life in terms of women up to and at that point had been completely casual. Well a few weeks ago I decided screw it, so I texted her asking to hang out that night. She declined saying she was already at a dinner or something but asked me if I'm free on Tuesday (I don't actually remember what day, just for the sake of this story I'm saying Tuesday haha). Tuesday came and we hung out, had a great time, connected really well and I ended up K-closing. She texted me about an hour after with some very kind words, calling me "amazing" and all this other stuff. So I can definitely say I wasn't the only one who thought it went well (I say that not to brag, but because I'm sure like everyone else here, I've certainly misread before). I don't like to text much, and maybe that's a bit of a flaw. After not texting her for a few days she just texted me and I lead the conversation to seeing her again. She claimed to be really busy and offered to meet up next week. Next week rolls around and and she gets really sick (again, have no reason not to believe her). Again, she offers to reschedule for the following week. BTW the reason it was always scheduled so far apart is because we're both ridiculously busy, as cheesy and excusey as that sounds. So we eventually do meet up again, goes great. I couldn't get much further that day as I had to be elsewhere later. Again though, she was very responsive the whole time and it seemed to be going well. Well that was maybe a week or two ago, and since then the two or three times I've tried to ask her if she's free or anything she always has work. This is fine, and again I believe her, but unlike before she no longer offers another day or time. Now normally I would just move on, but I admit-idly have gotten a little oneitis and was wondering if there was any other reasonable option. I feel like calling her out on it but am not sure if that is the right decision, and how I would go about doing it. I don't want to be rude, but also don't want to look like a tool. Any suggestions? Or do I just suck it up and move on?
I could also just try not texting her or anything for a while and see if she says anything like the first time.
