The importance of having your lifestyle in order

Many guys out there are only focused on girls and that's the only thing they care about. The fact of the matter is that getting girls shouldn't be the goal in your life. Sure everyone would like to have a girlfriend but you need to have your lifestyle in check before you can start progressing. What I mean by that is make sure you have a clear path on becoming successful. Make sure you have a well paying job or you will be getting one, a decent place that you keep clean, and preferably a car. If you don't have one, instead of blowing money on nightclubs to try and practice nightgame save that money up and invest in a car.

I've come to realize that I want to get well with girls but I also want to have my lifestyle completely handled so I don't have to worry about dealing with logistics due to no car or a lack of date opportunities because money is tight. I also have to work my ass off in terms of studying next semester in order to stay in the program I'm in at school. So my goal for the next year is to work hard as fuck to stay in this program and work 3 days a week and save up some cash each paycheck. After I save up enough money my first big goal is going to be a car and I'll also have to move into a new apartment next year.

Basically what I'm saying is have your finances down, you always want to have an abundance of money in your pocket and you want to have a car for logistics.

This isn't necessarily true in everyone's case. I think the point of your post is the right idea, but the way you presented it is flawed.

Finances take time to "have down." I live in a major city, so the majority of my friends aged 23-30 don't own a place. Sure it'd be great, but just out of university it's not easy to get a job that pays well enough to pay rent where you currently live, pay for a car, all your utilities, and save up to buy a place at the same time.

In this big city a car isn't necessarily a need, as there's a transit system and taxis.

I don't own a car, a condo/house, nor do I have a job in my professional field. None of this stops me from meeting and dating women. Ideally, I would own a condo downtown, drive my own car, and have a job in my field paying me a good sum of money, but that's not the case right now, and won't be for a few years (owning a condo/house).

I finished university and completed two internships, and I've now been working construction while networking and trying to get a job in my field. Does it suck? Yes. Do I let it hold me back from improving areas of my life that I have more control over? No.

You do want to have your lifestyle in order, but that doesn't mean having a car, house, and 6 figure paying job. It can mean being healthy and active, or doing well in school, or, realistically, just having a variety of goals you are striving towards with a plan of action is, in my opinion, having your life in order.

Those may be your personal goals, and those are great goals to have, but not everyone wants the same thing out of life.
