I'll try to make this as short as possible, but first I want to give you a little background on myself.
I had a tough time in my group of friends. I am 27 now, but back when me and all my friends were in college, I had a rough go about it. I always thought of myself as semi-attractive and I've always had a decent track record at picking up girls, but in my circle of friends I noticed a theme develop. There was one guy the girls would drool over. No matter what he did, the girls would always go crazy for him. I won't lie, I was really jealous. It bothered me that no matter how much of an idiot he sounded like, what car he drove, or what his degree was in, the girls would still go crazy over him. So, 4-5 years ago that lead me to google. I typed in some random shit and found one of David Deangelo's books on attraction.
That is where I started. A lot of the shit seemed like common sense, but I began to apply the teachings more religiously. I immediately corrected my sluggish posture and I also used to write on a notepad why I was awesome and read it to myself in the mirror to boost my confidence. While these helped initially, it never translated to success.
After watching some youtube videos on body language, I began to understand how everything worked. You can read a women's body language. She is basically telling you exactly how she feels without really ever saying something. That is the difference between breaking the ice with soft kino and getting labeled a creep with soft kino. While that may be exaggerated a little bit, but I just want to illustrate the power of body language. I am still very much developing in this area, but my awareness to body language will be better than most guys at a bar. It is one thing to understand the non-verbal cues and it is another to act on them. However, this can be hard if you're lacking confidence.
The most important element in seduction is your confidence. What does most of the community say in this regard....Fake it 'til you make it? That could not be more true. Remember it is not what you say, it is how you say it. If you have a confident body posture and a confident tone that resonates with the girl you are pursuing then you've won the battle regardless of what you're even blabbing about.
My best advice for guys is to work on their text game. Try and limit the amount of sentences that start with "I think, I believe, Perhaps, Sometimes, Maybe". Confident men are decisive with their actions and words. A simple example would be, "How about we go to the movies this weekend?" Instead, say this, "Let's go to the movies this Saturday". You can get creative with it. There are going to be times where you're unsure if she is busy or if she likes you, you can use this opportunity to qualify her in some manner or just be creative like, "Let's go to the movies this Saturday, XXX is playing. Can you handle scary movies or are you one of those girls that will have their eyes shut the whole time??" Just something stupid, yet playful.
I am not writing anything you guys did not already know. I just want to assure you that successes will take place if you continue to practice.
To put things in perspective...
Back when I started I had a fancy car, great apartment, good job compared to now where I find myself unemployed, living with my parents, and driving an old pickup truck that is on life support. Despite all this I was able to snag a HB9 who I am dating atm.
I can honestly say, I've gone through some trying times, but it is always good to have this community here for support when you need it.
Keep up the good work, boys
