New to here. So I was at a house party of a girl I'm friends with and I got with her friend. We were both pretty drunk and we went into a quiet room to be alone. We made out for a while and we both returned to the party. She then went home as she lived close by. The following day I messaged her with a pictures of a sock of hers I stole and asked for her number which I forgot to on the night. She replied saying she had a good time but she hadn't decided on getting her number. I followed up with a bit of light hearted banter thinking I would get another reply. I haven't...but I too haven't been quick with my responses.

Friends tell me she's a tough one to crack but I think I could say things better. I want to come across as confident and not phased by the lack of response. Good pointers to go from here will be appreciated.
