Honestly? Just don't, there's millions more of them, it's just not worth the logistical hassle.

If you were there with a friend and she was there with a friend, if the eye contact is blatant to both of you, shoot her a wave, see what she does. If she seems receptive you could go over and say hi and move forward from there. If not, just leave it.

We gotta control the urge to approach sometimes, because at times, it's simply not healthy. Once one gets over AA and explores the joys of meeting women randomly, it's easy to have our mind monopolized by the thought of approaching. It's key to not forget how to turn that off (most of the time I'd argue) to enjoy the moment with friends or family.

I've done something pretty messed up once,a sibling was visiting me from out of town, and I was so "addicted" that I would get away from the house sometimes just to approach, and then I would end up going on dates (and their homes sometimes) whilst my sister was in town. She had a bunch of friends here too so she was always busy, but it made me realize that we must not get carried away sometimes. This rant may apply more to me than to you, but just felt like sharing. One thing you could have done was stood up, looked at her and motioned with your head "come" and walked towards the washroom, waited for her there. When she came over, you could've introduced yourself, ran a bit of game and told her she's cute, but she's with her family, you're with yours, so let's exchange numbers so we can meet up later. (Don't give your number, get her's).
Lead her and she'll follow. Another option is to wait until she goes to the washroom, follow her, and introduce yourself.
