First of all, where I live, the legal age for nightlife is 18.
Last weekend I was invited to hangout with a group at a bar.
I have to say, I had fun. But if it weren't for the group I was with, everything else sucks.
The music was so loud my eardrums were closed for three days in a row.
We ordered a bottle of grey goose, everyone started making their mixes, while I drank it with nothing, that's how I usually drink whiskey and vodka with my parents, helps telling you if the bottles have been played with or not. To be honest, I felt like I was drinking rubbing alcohol, had a headache for 2 days straight, so I knew that the bottles were bad so I didn't drink much, and an hour into the night I was the only person to remain sober. Everyone left and right was dancing to unbearable music, while I just stayed my place and observed, the bouncers were suspicious of me and asked me if all was well, I told them I was good and thanked them, perhaps this was the first time they saw someone this late in almost the same position he was in once he first entered (Frame Control?).
This was my first time entering a bar, I have to say I came to observe and see how people behave in these spaces.
What I took notice to is that seldom did people from different tables interacted with each other. There were also no guys approaching girls from other groups (there were many all female tables), I'd like to ask you guys why, I said perhaps because it would be hard to isolate and escalate.
Another thing I took notice to is that I can easily say at 20 years old, I was the youngest male in the entire venue. I heard a lot of advice previously that I got to start gaming girls at venues like bars and nightclubs. However how is this possible if I'm the youngest person there, and the competition is more suited for women's hypergamy than I am, and the entire environment is working against you, with lights hitting you from everywhere and the music is so loud that it might gouge your heart out at any moment?
