Tinder?

Just joined about a week ago. So far have a bunch of matches and girls I'm talking to. Have only been on one date so far from it (it went well), but have set up a few more. I think it's a good resource, just like online dating or meeting people in real life. Really, why limit yourself? Just make sure you have some good photos on there.

It's just another way to meet women. Plus you get to skip the "i'm pretty on the inside" stuff. You like girls that you find attractive. It's no more of a crutch than running sets imo.

It works but takes some work. In 2 months I had 6 dates and 6 last minutes flakes out of 100+ matches. All girls were at least cute-ish and cool enough for a nice time around a pint or two. 3 led to sex, including the girl I'm seeing now and she seems real cool.

So in the end a ton of experience, some sex and a potential girl. Not too shabby...

Have good photos, tons of Facebook likes and be original in your approaches.

I'd say it's purely a validation app for girls. I have no doubt that girls are getting 10x as many likes as guys. Girls don't go for looks as much as behavior, and the whole realm of femaleness is about looks. It's geared towards giving girls validation, while I bet girls are just being more choosy.

I've met with 3 girls from tinder. I've gotten coffee with every one of them because I did not want to invest my money into a dinner date (I'm a broke college student). 2 of them had boring personalities and had trouble carrying conversation. 1 of whom was not nearly as attractive as she was in her profile (fucking photoshop is tinder's biggest trap my friend). 1 of them was cute and I enjoyed hanging out with her. Things eventually faded with her and I gave up on tinder.

I gave up on tinder because I am no longer looking for a hook-up. I mean sex is great, but my priorities in women shifted towards personality. Going up to cute girls, starting conversation, and seeing if there is potential beats tinder ANYDAY. Like you said, it can be used as a crutch. Plus, when you talk to girls over text you don't worry about your body language or vocal tonality which account for 60-80% of how a message is interpreted.

All of that aside, tinder is a good app for hooking up. The key is to continue to approach women in person because that is how you gain the most practice.

Tinder is an interesting one.. I've got 250+ matches and out of those perhaps 10-15% have replied to my conversation starters (Just going with "hey there" as I can't be bothered to think of something quirky and witty tailored specifically for each of them)

I usually try and 'escalate' to using What'sApp as quick as possible as I feel chatting on there is more personal, and then add snapchat on top of that for added 21st century flirting.

In total i've agreed to meet up with a handful of these girls (usually after getting to 'know' them via text for a few weeks) and F closed once, with hopefully more to come.

Pretty positive overall i'd say

I met my SO on tinder around 9 months ago. She was the first person I really spoke with so it worked out for me.

The app sucks. I get spam, pranks, etc.

I got 12 matches in my area so far and only 1 or 2 actually respond back.

It's a hook up app with no real value, unless you want some self-amusement. Figuring the way the app works, it's based on who has the best looks.
