My best friend does "0" approaches, but this is about the 4th girl that has handed herself to him, in two weeks. I've approached lots of girls every week for months, and have got nothing...Hard to stay motivated!!!

Everyone I know, has that friend. Some internalize confidence to a level those of us that had to work on it, will never know.

Another possible reason: He's just damned good looking. My best friend is like that, and has been since we were kids. Some people are just blessed in life.

I remember a comedian making a joke about that. Where he and the MC (another comic that opened for him. He basically looked like a Ken doll) were at spring break. "I'm talking all kinds of romance and love and anything I could get with a girl, and it would work, some of the time. But (Ken doll) would just stand up and make an announcement: I got half a Mars bar back at the condo, if anybody wants to fuck! And it worked EVERYtime."

If you're the one approaching, and he's poaching your girls, introduce him to some pickup etiquette. The guy who approaches gets to choose the girl; you can choose before you go in and let him know, or once you're in set and give him some signal to let him know which girl you want. If he' a good friend and a decent human being, he probably feels guilty for getting the girls you hit on, and will be willing to play by these rules.
