Get off the "grid" and use your accent and non-familiarity with the area to get to know people. Also as far as women are concerned, American women do like flings with foreigners....

Little shameless plug - When i first came to the states, 1.5 years back, i took a homeless guy to dunkin donuts. He asked me if I could spare him some change and I saw DD and I was like hey man lets get some food.This homeless guy game me some of the best advice regarding safety and crime around campus. Also hooked me up with an awesome cab driver who gave me great rates!

You aren't being aggressive enough. Do dozens of daygame approaches and make your kino as hard and as frequent as you can get away with.
