There's no real magic bullet phrase to use. Basically, just message everyone and leave it alone. Of the ones who respond back, go for the ones you like. Rinse and repeat.

I find reading their profile and then mentioning an interesting thing about something they like to work. Otherwise for profiles with little description I send funny messages. Like, you are in trouble now "username". Thing is. You can say the perfect thing and get lucky but its all about presentation. If she doesn't like what she sees what you say can easily be ignored. So find a way to look like a fun, confident fella. Pics of you doing things help.
