I know I can get past it, I know I can improve, but after I did 2 approaches a few months ago I haven't worked up the courage again. Not to mention I've been a lurker here for 2 1/2 years and it took this long just to do any approaches.

I start doubting myself a lot when I think about how long it's taken me and how I haven't done an approach since. I always say "X time I'll do it" but never do. Maybe i'm expecting too much out of myself for a beginner?
