Nah like maybe if I could see some snapshots from some text condos? Any tips on building rapport?

A girl has to be pretty damn attracted to you in order for her to take the leap of faith, meet up with you, and believe she will probably not get assaulted. She does t k ow you from a hole in the wall. It's super tough. Atleast for me. Can't be awkward or too shy ir too aggressive or too pussy, can't run out of things to say
/r/seduction17/04/22 01:48 PM

Would it be cool if I saw some of your convos? I ho estly feel like that would be the most helpful thing for me.

hwo do you keep it from being like an interview?
/r/seduction17/04/22 03:48 AM

agreed. good for you OP, keep it up. but numbers/insta's are almost worthless. Out of 10 numbers you get you'll be lucky if you get one date.
/r/seduction17/04/22 03:47 AM

how do you deal with it? biggest one i deal with is with girls not asking questions, and/or giving short answers with little elaboration. advice?

you don't find endless hook ups to become unfulfilling after awhile? im not gonna lie. i want your womanizing skills but i also don't want to be 50 and not married to a woman i love. no offense. thanks for the words of encouragement tho, i've needed them.

Holy fuck, the Bipolar one... I just got out of a relationship with a chick with Bipolar. When she took her meds she was fine, so I'd say that mostly only applies if it is **unmedicated** bipolar.

What were you like when you started. How bad was your social anxiety? What was your social life and self esteem like? What progress have you made?
/r/seduction20/04/17 08:32 PM

Yeah, and most people don't go 8 years meeting countless people and having none of them become close friends. You guys don't get it. It's a deeper, more complicated problem than just taking the initiative...
/r/seduction20/04/17 04:58 AM

8 years of meeting people dude. Out of everyone I've ever hungout with in 8 years no one has actively showed interest. Its more than that.

/r/seduction18/04/17 11:13 PM
13

And do the work What do you mean? As for types of friends. Yeah, I do want to party a lot. And my natural tendency when I'm not bogged down by depression, insecurities - basically when I'm in a good state - is to be extroverted and fun and happy. But usually I have some slight depression, insecurity, and shyness.
/r/seduction18/04/17 11:12 PM

How do genuine, loving friendships form, then? How do you get people emotionally invested in me? I don't want to go around trying to scheme over how to get each person I meet more invested in me, you know? I just want genuine, organic relationships that form naturally. Why does it take so much effort for me when there are people wayyyyyyy more awkward than me that have social lives that are way more fulfilling than mine? For the longest time I thought - mainly due to watching RSD - I had to be t…

Word. Thanks. Another guy also noted how me saying "Take care" was just obvious that I was trying to play some kind of mind game to "get her back" and invest, which I wasn't consciously thinking at the time, but I realize I was DEFINITELY subconsciously thinking it, so now i see how that was pretty weird.
/r/seduction18/04/17 10:46 PM

"Marry me?" Isnt something I would ever say over text. In person yes, but it's hard to lose the context. You mean like it's easy to take out of context? If so, how? Isn't it pretty obvious - just like it'd be in person - that it's a joke? How would you have responded? Then you follow up with a needy text saying "take care"... That shit gets you nowhere. It's a solid text if your literally done with her completly. But it sounds like you're trying to mind game her and win her back by playing hard …
/r/seduction18/04/17 08:41 PM

Also your texts were crazy needy. Which ones, and how so? What should I have said instead? "Marry me?" just seemed like a funny exaggeration that could possibly lead to flirting "Cheating on me already? Take care" Just doesn't seem needy what-so-ever to me, so I could definitely use some explaining for that one. After she friendzoned me I gave up on trying to flirt and just wrapped it up "Me too, Holly." At the time nothing else really occurred to me to say. What was needy about this? What would…

Keep it platonic from here on out, then?
/r/seduction18/04/17 08:19 PM

solid tips man, thanks. have you ever dealt with the shit i was talking about, as far as prolonged periods of frustration, especially at the beginning?
/r/seduction16/04/17 01:17 AM
2

You've been downvoted but honestly I think this is true. I am desperate as fuck. It's hard not to be at 22 and only ever having had sex twice and one shitty hand job in my entire life, you know? I know desperation is cancer but like... how the fuck am I not supposed to be desperate. To me it's like tell a starving person not to be hungry. Genuinely asking, how do you stop being desperate when you are genuinely desperate.

not knowing how to text to actually secure the date, etc. speaking of which, can you provide any tips? To give a scenario, I approach a girl during the day time. The number close wasn't that strong, but not terrible. Where do you go form there?

No offense dude but this is common knowledge. I've done hundreds of approaches.
/r/seduction15/04/17 06:55 AM

Sets just dont go anywhere. Thats really all there is to it. Either they go nowhere, or I get a number but they don't respond, or more recently I'll get a day 2 but then they cancel.
/r/seduction15/04/17 05:11 AM

You gotta make her invest in you and the interaction a bit to leave a workable impression. How the fuck does one do this???

/r/seduction08/02/17 04:14 AM
2

Sprinkled across the past 3 years, I'd say roughly 200-300 girls?
/r/seduction08/02/17 01:41 AM
1

I text them. I don't put a lot of thought into my text game (maybe I should?). I just say hey, whats up, or maybe be a bit more cheeky like "Handle you liquor this weekend?". IDK, I don't have one thing that I do every time. With the most recent girl I just texted her "Hey, whats up" If they respond then I try to make small talk and then try to set up a day 2. But like I said, I never get Day 2's. The vast, vast majority of the time they don't even respond.
/r/seduction08/02/17 01:36 AM
1

You're not giving them a reason for them to want to go out with you. Any tips on doing this? Like I said, my game is: approach direct, make a bit of small talk, make them laugh a bit and say "You seem cool, let's keep in touch" and number close.
/r/seduction07/02/17 10:59 PM
2

lmao
/r/seduction04/02/17 08:45 PM
3

Exactly. Mark (btw, Models is a FANTASTIC book, anyone could benefit from it) is talking about living a lifestyle that will provide you with more oppurtunities with women that you are likely to be compatable with. An excellent strategy. BUT you still need to know what to do with those women, those "opportunities". So sticking points are in fact important, and to ignore them is a bad mistake.
/r/seduction30/10/16 07:49 PM
1

Nah, I hear you.
/r/seduction30/10/16 05:26 PM
4

Except that organic relationships don't happen to everybody. I've only had a few ever. This is more important than getting one night stands or superficial fuck buddy relationships, dude. Handle this.
/r/seduction27/10/16 04:01 AM
2

This is so vague. For one, how do you usually open? Are you smiling? What do you typically say?
/r/seduction27/10/16 03:58 AM
1

Man, I resonate with the approval seeking a lot. I feel stuck with it. I know I should depend on it to feel good but I totally do. Super insecure, especially around women, idk how to break it, my self-esteem sucks. How do you get rid of that need for approval??
/r/seduction27/10/16 03:14 AM

Good advice, thank you

/r/seduction27/10/16 12:59 AM

/r/seduction25/10/16 12:29 AM

A couple of fun/funny/flirty texts before suggesting a meet up is fine, but don't sit around texting back and forth She's in cali and coming to NY where i live in a month. so it complicates things.

You lack empathy. Don't give people advice on emotional issues.
/r/seduction24/10/16 10:39 PM
8

It's mainly the 2nd point. "Stop feeling sorry for yourself" is literally the same as "just don't be depressed." That isn't helpful dude, do you really not see that? I know you have good intentions but you're lacking empathy. Is that what someone who is TRAINED in helping depressed people say? "Stop being depressed"? That's the problem, they DON'T KNOW HOW to NOT feel sorry for themselves. It's not just a cut and dry thing. Ultimately the only people who are truly qualified to give advice on dep…

1) See a psychologist. Do CBT and if needed Exposure therapy. 2) See some sort of meditation teacher and learn how to meditate. Everyone tries to teach themselves and then end up having serious misunderstandings in their practice for years, if they even last that long. Dhamma.org. Check that out for FREE 10 day courses at a place near you. Seriously, it's free. At least try it AND THEN decide it's not for you. I know it's intense but it'd only "hard" for the first 2 days. BTW, it changes lives a…

Look. It is totally creepy. But it's also without a doubt one of the best ways to improve. So either be creepy and awkward forever or do something that is borderline creepy but evolve into someone who is not creepy at all

Dude let me just say I think you're one of the realest guys on this sub. You have changed my perspective on things. Also I agree, every guy I know that does that approachapproachapproach shit tend to be scum bags that have hard times connecting with people. Also earlier you made the point that a lot of guys can mass approach forever and just be spinning their wheels. I think this is CRITICAL realization that people need to have here. What you are saying definitely rings true in my experience. So how does an unconfident- low value guy who become a high value guy?
/r/seduction22/07/16 02:10 PM
1

It is and it isn't. It is definitely a numbers game, but you can't portray it as if there is nothing you can do to improve those numbers. Your body langue, your tonality, your need for approval, your fear of rejection/ridicule, all those things are are factors that are significant in how well you communicate with people. So I definitely think that you should work on different habits in pick up, BUT you shouldn't beat yourself up or blame yourself after every rejection.

most pua shit is nonsense and a scam to take your money. Please, go more into this. I've been reading and watching a lot of pua shit for a while now. I know I'm brainwashed. I don't know where the truth ends and the bullshit starts. What is your perspective, particularly on inner game and RSD?

where did you start deriving it from? im definitely guilty of that, and being that i'm a newbie and i suck i feel shit about myself often

Hellll no. You gotta go there man and COMMIT It's 9 days of no talking to anyone (except to the teacher and his assistants), and NO DISTRACTIONS. Just you and your thoughts. No writing materials, no conversation with roommates, no cell phone, no books. It sounds intimidating - I was definitely intimidated - but now I can't wait to do it again. Hopefully for a month. I truly don't know and tbh with you, that kind of scares me. I can tell you meditation is almost certainly a part of it though. Therapy. CBT. I really am not sure. One thing I am sure about is this - chasing validation is definitely not the right course of action.

One thing that I am going to try harder at is to stop feeling like there is something in me I need to fix. I say keep doing approaches, keep flirting, keep trying to expand your comfort zone but at the same time truly try to be ok with who you are, as you are. Wayyyy easier said that done. I know. I don't totally know how to do it myself, and I'm scared. But ultimately I know that this is the root cause. When I lost I just felt like "...so that was it??" Man, you should have written this post. I intended this post as a call to action for myself and others to focus on accepting ourselves. I'm still working on it. Being that you've had success with this idea, please, can you go in depth with how you go to the point you are at now? Were there beliefs that you struggled to let go of, or did you just have an epiphany and then you were changed?
/r/seduction16/05/16 11:22 PM
8

Absolutely. Keep pushing your comfort zone, keep putting yourself out there, but at least try to be ok with where you are at now. It'll make everything about socializing easier.
/r/seduction16/05/16 11:20 PM
12

I totally agree. And that's why I recommend that people still keep putting themselves out there, keep pushing their comfort zones. I used to not even be able to ask old guys for directions. Because of game I can actually approach groups of hot girls. So yes, keep pushing your boundaries, but TRY not to have your self-image tied to it. These sorts of internal shifts we are talking about here are very deep, and not easy to get at all. Way harder then just scaring yourself and getting numb to fears…

dhamma.org Completely free. 10 days. Everyone should at least TRY it, and give up after the first day or something. It's completely secular. They are going to talk about being a moral person, becoming wise, and meditating, nothing about worshiping, getting to nirvana, or any type of shit that you need to put your faith into.

I appreciate the honest feed back, as well as the perspective it's coming from - that of age and experience. Thank you. How long have you been into pick up? Could you perhaps go more in depth with what your journey with pick up was like as well as your disillusionment with it? Lately I've been becoming a little disillusioned as well, but I stick around because this is the only way for me to get answers in situations that I don't know what to do.

I mean to tell you the truth I didn't really get owned as much as I lost. What happened was he tripped me, was on top of me, and then I just stopped resisting and stopped moving because ground and pound sucks, and he let me go mercifully, which was cool of him. I guess if I got ground and pounded then I would have felt differently, so I guess you've got a point. And yeah, never been hit before college. I honestly don't think wit is developed by any of those things. Witty jokes RARELY make some sort of reference to - or are even influenced by - poetry, literature or any other academic, "interesting" stuff (all of which I like), and if you make some joke referring to poetry, science, what ever the fuck - something that is not a shared interest with the other party then you will come off looking pretentious or just in general they won't get it. It's like if I was hanging out with some models and …

I have the same problem. I've noticed that when I'm relaxed and comfortable with myself then witty things will just come. With that said, I feel like doing some sort of improv/free association exercises would really help with this stuff. Never tried though.

I stopped paying attention to this sub a while ago man, I only come around every now and then. Seddit's fucking dead dude. Hook like n sinker. A better alternative is rsdnation.com. It's a large community though, so the spectrum of quality is wider. For example, where as in reddit there is /r/seduciton and then /r/redpill, in rsdnation it's all just one giant pot o' gumbo. Mm good point. That's really true. At the same time though, I sort of see what Tyler is saying too. Most people are mediocre or at least average, as a less negative way of looking at it - usually due to limiting beliefs. And most people do have limiiting beliefs. What do yo uthink about it? Or more specifically, what are YOUR views on society in general, people being in a durr state, etc.
/r/seduction31/10/15 11:11 PM
2

I've also gotten the impression that he's super positive (or at least tries to be), I'd really like to hear your point of view on it, sometimes I misread people.
/r/seduction24/10/15 08:30 PM
2

Eh, IDK. I have my doubts about RSD sometimes too but overall, the advice was sound - for me. I've struggled in the past about thinking "fuck I'm not being funny enough. I'm not being entertaining enough", etc., etc. and really I was being reaction seeking. I'd be nervous and feel inadequate and then feel like I have to be funny and it just would not come out well at all.
/r/seduction08/08/15 02:47 AM
2

I think the point is TRYING to be funny is bad. Don't worry about how funny you are or put pressure on yourself to be more funny. Don't be reaction seeking.

What type of humor for under what contexts?
/r/seduction07/08/15 08:53 PM

Were these things you had to learn how to do? I could give examples but I feel like they are very contextual, but often times I'll say something humorous that is just a dud, only occasionally getting big laughs. A lot of being stifled.
/r/seduction30/06/15 05:52 PM

Do amusing things, excite the person you're with in a pleasant way, encouraging them to be interested in who you are, and making them want to continue hanging out. To play with them. That's my problem. I suck at this and don't know how to get better at this.

In the Mth of Syphius he's pushing the rock up the hill everyday and finds his own meaning in life and the work. In Faust he's striving to achieve something specific - a Christian transcendence - in the face of futility. So the difference I'm seeing that Camus feels there is no meaning so make up your own and Faust seems to be saying live to be the absolute best you can be, correct? If I'm getting this right then I find it a very interesting comparison since my personal philosophy (even though I…
/r/seduction08/12/14 09:15 AM

/r/seduction08/12/14 08:07 AM

I've heard of it and I know roughly that it has to do with al ove triangle or something, but could you explain why you like it, what's good about it from a philosphical stand point?
/r/seduction08/12/14 02:36 AM

I kind of disagree with his philisophy I'm not too familiar with him, could ou briefly describe his philosophy and why you disagree with it?
/r/seduction08/12/14 02:34 AM
1

Exactly. Being genuine will bring that confidence and energy because you BELIEVE in what you're saying.
/r/seduction08/12/14 02:28 AM
1

You're thinking about it from a guys perspective. I'll speak for myself but usually when I think of girls I'll think "god damn she is sexy" or "hot" but you don't really want to say this to her face. Cute, gorgeous, beautiful, adorable even, those are probably better. Sexy and hot are more objectifying, few girls actually want to be called that.
/r/seduction08/12/14 02:28 AM
4

That's a good point. That's the problem for me though, a lot of times when the other person isn't investing in the conversation it's hard to carry that shit and I don't know where to take the conversation. If they're just answering my questions it's not giving me a whole lot to work with.

I've heard they are wastes of money. You're paying them thousands of dollars to just get you to do scary shit. Even if they give you good teachings, I don't think 3 THOUSAND fucking dollars is even an ethical price to charge. You can do so much other shit with that. Ultimately if you're desperate enough and you think it's worth it to you then try it, but keep in mind you could go on a trip with that money across the world or just in general do so much more stuff with that money.

I went through a very similar thing recently. Met a girl, we were into eachother but 1) I was afraid of escalating and 2) She had a boyfriend. When the boyfriend broke up with her two weeks later or so she invited me to sleep in her bed with her. I told her straight up I'd sleep with her but I was not going to be making any moves on her because I personally would feel like a scumbag to take advantage of a girl while she is in grief. Overall I think it was the right decscion. She's a good girl an…

How did you get to be like this? I still struggle with making eye contact with passing strangers - and that's after doing 25 appraoches.
/r/seduction04/05/14 10:09 PM
1

This is a good point. I think when people say "approaching" it connotates something they have to do, like "Ok, time to approach". Just ask them hows it going. I think many sedditors do lose sight of this though BECAUSE initiating with anyone is hard for them to do. For example, I was the kid in class who never talked to anyone.
/r/seduction04/05/14 05:07 PM
5

Isn't that interesting though? People are too scared to initiate but are hoping that someone else will. We aren't excluded from this phenomenon, but I think that is why so many fixate on approaching - that is initiating.

I've done 23 approaches and have only gotten a few numbers, all of which flaked. This shit takes time. Being conscious of mistakes is enough, really. Doing drills to directly target them are good too. I tend to talk too much, so a drill to target that would be to approach and then pretty much only talk if she asks you questions - otherwise you asking her - getting her to talk more than you.

The diagram says that you consciously think these the thoughts that fuck you up. I think they are actually ingrained in your subconcious. The thing is that I feel like if I don't approach then I'm sticking to my old patterns. I think to myself "what will my life look like in a year from now if I stick to my old patterns? What will my life look like if I exercise courage?" I think this is a healthy attitude but where I go wrong is I beat myself up, put too much pressure on myself. Do you think just vibing with them would be a good idea? Not trying anything, just shooting the shit, joking around you know? Aw man, fuck. There is no way I could pay 500 dollars, damn this sounded awesome. Can we work anything out?
/r/seduction09/04/14 12:26 AM
1

Setting up "agreements" to have sex ahead of time, often doesn't work out.) Why is that? The situation is this: My friend has a very cute friend from Italy coming to visit for a week. My friend showed her my Facebook and she wants to fuck me. So this weekend she is getting in and it's expected that we will be having sex then. TBH I don't even know how to handle this situation.
/r/seduction08/04/14 11:55 PM

How do you know when you're ready for sex? I'm an 18 year old virgin that'll be getting laid this weekend so I'm interested in hearing this
/r/seduction08/04/14 02:00 AM

I don't think I was ready at 17. Please explain. I'm 19 so fairly close
/r/seduction08/04/14 01:10 AM

Absolutely, I'll be in NYC at that time so I'm definitely interested.

I left a 5 star review. To be honest it's hard not to sound like I'm exaggerating which I find actually kind of frustrating because I truly do think this is better than any other big name project I've ever seen. So let me get this straight, your currently in Brazil and don't throw bootcamps? For some reason I was under the impression you (used?) to be in NYC and did.

This course is too good to not be able to access it after this monday. How can I get it permanently? This is the best pickup material I've ever seen. Way better than RSD, I'm truly blown away. How can I still access these seminars? I'm being serious when I say that this is better than any RSD product I've ever seen, and up until now I've been a very loyal fan of RSD. This is too valuable to to be inaccessible after monday, I'm serious. People need to see this.

It's so tough. There'll be girls coming towards me and I'll be like "Do it!!" and I just never do. I'm not giving up but I mean it's still really bad. I shouldn't be going months in between approaches. Logically I know it wont be bad but I'm till nervous about embarrassing myself
/r/seduction06/04/14 09:37 PM
1

The first approach of course I was nervous but I did pretty well. Confident opener, she received it well. I ran out of things to say and left. Second approach I was nervous as fuck and she didn't receive it so well. Haven't mustered it up since. Could you give me any advice?
/r/seduction06/04/14 09:32 PM
1

Yeah. I'm a freshman undergrad living with 4 other girls. Boyfriend drama errday. If anything the only thing I've learned is that girls talk about guys just as much if not more than guys talk about girls. I think this could be because girls are almost always having options while most guys have dry spells in between girls.
/r/seduction02/04/14 08:33 PM
1

"I have an idea, I'll give you my number and you text me when you get off work" Never EVER do this. You get HER number every time. Even if the girl asks for your number you should still get hers.
/r/seduction02/04/14 08:20 PM
2

There might be a misunderstanding. What he is saying is while in conversation if you're getting nervous then just accept it as part of the learning process, not anything attached to yourself worth. Just be aware of the feeling, not judging it. Furthermore don't try to think your way out of nervousness - that's how you get in your head and over analyze, just accept the feeling and move on.

A big point that RSD and Simple Pick (I'm most familiar with those two) make is that the opener really doesn't matter. The only thing the opener is there to do is to just get the girls attention. That's why you have some crazy guys who open with "I want to pee in your butt" and still get laid. Just saying, I wouldn't recommend that. Check out Simplepick up's stuff. They don't have the depth that RSD does but they do a great job at showing intent and really showing that what you open with means n…

Overall though, I think a genuine compliment on someones eyes is better than a forced compliment on, let's say a girls generic hoodie, you know?

For how long have you been doing this and how did you rack up such numbers? Even the "greats" like RSD Julien and Tyler say they are around 200.

I recently became aware of Squattin Cassanova He posts tons of infield footage. A bunch of them are from the open all the way to close. Also his videos only take place in LA and Vegas, so it's almost always nightgame The way I found out about this guy is from searching up "rsd brad infield" on youtube, so I would recommend searching up who ever is your favorite PUA + "infield", as I did.

True that. My buddies roomate is jacked, he get's approached by girls at parties just straight up asking for sex. Looks DO matter. The reason why we say they don't is because there is nothing you can do about your looks, so concentrating on them at all outside of the clothes you wear will only hurt you. It's a selective blind spot. Looks do matter. Dress as well as you can to make up for physical short comings, and become accepting of them. Accept them and become an awesome person with an attrac…

It doesn't matter whether she had a boyfriend or not, she wasn't interested. That's it. As for the "I tried" - who gives a fuck? You were rejected anyway, as long as you're not being a dick then it doesn't matter - speaking of which I don't know why you're calling yourself a dick, mate, what you did was a nice thing. /r/seduction14/02/14 04:46 AM

How do you force yourself not to puss out? THat (clearly) has been my biggest problem. I have recently become more conscious of things I shouldn't be doing -I often project things going wrong. A lot of times I don't expect myself to approach because of all the times I've told myself I'd do it and then don't. I know I have to do it but it's so hard
/r/seduction11/02/14 05:49 PM
1

Do you think I shouldn't read and PUA material until I make an approach then? No Seddit, Simple Pickup, RSD, everything - take a total break until I do an approach?

I know it's what I gotta do but I always would just bitch out at last moment :/

/r/seduction09/02/14 07:11 AM

How long did it take you to force yourself to just approach? I've lurked the PUA community for 2 1/2 years or so and still haven't actually done a cold approach. :/

Are you actually saying that RSD advises using scripts as openers?
/r/seduction08/02/14 02:53 AM

At some point later I call the girl and tell her that my friends are getting together, and tell her I'll pick her up. I noticed that girls tend to flake less if you call them at this point. This is the best way to set up plans. Generally setting up a day in advanced is good, but not telling what time that day until the day has arrived is a great way to reduce flakes. So it's Wednesday now, let's hangout Saturday. "k" Saturday arrives "10:30 party at X"

Do you think the bootcamps were really worth the 3,000 dollars? I'm sure their book camps are great but shit, that's a lot of money. That could get you a vacation, you know? Bootcamps? Nice. Would you say it was worth the 3 grand? Who was your instructor and what not. Could you maybe go more in depth with your experience(s) with RSD - I've thought about possibly doing a bootcamp - probably not tho because of the steep price, but I'm sure others here have.
/r/seduction31/01/14 08:48 PM

Do you think that maybe you just don't understand the humor? That can be understandable since most human communication is lost over text. Look at the upvotes compared to yours - the majority realize Scorproyale isn't talking Tyler down.

As soon as possible if I can, which would be next fall. I'd be a year older than most of the people in the dorm but I don't really care. It's not grade school anymore, age doesn't matter that much. And I might have some seniority. I know my way around the campus because I have friends from home who go to the school so I know all the spots and can show people/girls around.

My daily routine is school, home, school work, internet. I live in a college town but go to a Community college and still have AA so I've made very few friends. Keep your word and do what you say. Meeting with someone? Be on time. Wait ‘til tomorrow? No do it now. Said you were going to the gym today? Go. When you do what you say you begin to trust yourself. Trusting yourself is confidence. Fuck, that hit home. That's my biggest problem. I've talked to people about this a few times. I've said to myself so many times "alright, now I'm going to do it" but then don't because the fear takes over, and now I'm at a point where I don't even believe in myself anymore. Yeah they didn't ask me to do it but can they really not handle saying thank you? I ALWAYS say thank you to people who hold doors open and stuff. I see it the same as being a bad or good tipper a little, or saying hi to someone and they totally disregard you. You'd like Neuromancer by Williamson Gibson. I think the book invented "cyberpunk". I love the first sentence: "The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel" I've wanted to read Candide for a long time now.

Tips for lasting longer, 1) do kegels 2) once you start to feel an orgasm coming push like you do when you are trying to pee faster. This takes some blood flow away from the dick and thus makes it less sensitive and you'll be able to last longer. Also try totally relaxing your dick when you fuck, in other words dont flex the dick (PC) muscle, that increases blood flow = makes it more sensitive = not last as long. Also try "edging" when you jerk off. Any questions just ask me. Good shit man. I'm …

Yeah read regularly and it definitely has helped me. There are certain ways of phrasing something or what not that I'll take from an author, and so on. What are you reading now? I'm halfway through The Martian Chronicles, then reading Gulag Archipelago after

What's some of the stuff you'd talk to people about when you'd just meet them? I think you should stop worrying about if its a bad sign or not. It makes you seem insecure. I have this exact problem. I often do ruminate on if I'm getting a bad sign and it IS because i'm insecure. See the thing is is that I'm conscious of it and I know why it's happening but I'm not sure how to actually approach fixing the problem. I mean you can't "just stop", you know?

I can think of various guys who fit every personality type, and they all vary wildly in their success with women. I think the major difference is that some guys make moves constantly, while other guys tend to avoid it. Great way of putting it. Essentially you get girls by putting yourself out there and trying. This shit is truly just a numbers game that we hope to improve our chances with, but it's still a numbers game in the end. Never approach = never getting any, always approaching = at least…

Without even being overly judgmental I could tell this would be shit just from the title, but had to check the comments to test my accuracy. This might not help, but tbh it's just fact, I know of a guy who has no arms or legs - born that way, and has a wife. I had a class with a kid last year who was morbidly obese and yet had a pretty hot girl friend. It's all personality. /r/seduction06/04/13 04:09 AM

I've wanted to meditate but I have two issues with it. One is that I don't know how to approach it - should I clear my mind and relax or should I get to the root of a problem and try to figure it out? It's hard for me to muster up the patience, determination and faith that it will work when I don't know what I'm doing, thus I can never stick with it. Also I have ADHD which probably affects my concentration.

Currently a senior and I think you hit the nail on the head. It's all about status. That said there is a little bit of social mobility, at least for me. Step 1 is sort of a problem though, since she is actually my cousins best friend who I only just met, and I am sure will meet many more times. Like you become more aware of your body, right? I was talking to my cousin about meditation - he is getting a PhD in Buddhist studies - and he used an example to show me. He touched my shoulder and asked me if I felt that, which of course I did. Then he asked me if I was conscience of of any feeling in that area before he touched it and of course I didn't. He told me through meditation you can be come more aware of your bodies feelings, and some masters can even become aware of their own organs.

it'd be ridiculous to emulate or even admire his lifestyle. Absolutely. In a recent Tyler video, Tyler was saying how Brad was so drunk one night and was saying how "People can't find out about RSD. I have no life. All I do is party and have sex. That's all my life is." Something along those lines, and Tyler was telling everyone this like it was funny like "Oh yeah that's SOOO bad", but that actually struck a cord with me that I only barely thought of before. Or if she keeps pestering you like that, keep playing it off or tell her to stop. I mean that just comes off as "errrrr I don't want to say out of insecurity (none)". I think the best response I've heard to this was actually just above that was your first sentence.

I think lieing could be a good way to handle this particular shit test, but lieing as your game, like in your last sentence just seems sort of lame.

So basically side step it? That doesn't seem effective, it's obvious when someone avoids a question they don't want to answer it. If anything, at least in this instance, it seems like it would demonstrate "I haven't slept with any/few, so I don't want to answer that question because i'm insecure about it". That's my take as a newbie, so can this please be clarified?

Dude, do you SERIOUSLY think that the free videos are some sort of fuckin charity? This is coming from someone who over all likes RSD: Those videos are all marketing. They are samples. They are always alluding to the fact that boot camps (which I don't doubt) are more in depth and you'd get more out of them, but that's the purpose of the videos. I've sort of struggled with this as well. I mean just the though of having to constantly, every day, pump your state to a high... just fuck. See I think RSD tries to chase feeling amazing all the time, while still acknowledging there will be lows, but honestly is that what life is about? Is that what I want? To be chasing and pursuing feeling amazing and awesome and badass all the time? Why not just be content. It's not a whole lot different, and seems better in general. I mean the fact that you…

I think the best defense for Tyler/RSD as a whole is that their advice is pretty much top notch - they just make the decision to go for girls who are already taken. You could easily take all their advice and still stick to your morals. I mean RSD in a nutshell is "relax, enjoy the process for the process, not the outcome". Perhaps it could be wrapped up better, but that isn't the point.
/r/seduction01/02/13 05:31 AM

It comes from the belief that girls can't be trusted to make sound decisions. No it doesn't. I don't know if this is unintentional straw manning or perhaps a simple misinterpretation. It's not that they aren't capable, but can be manipulated to do something where it would be very hard to refuse. It's not 100 percent on them or on you, but the fact is that a lot of people, if they are manipulated, would do things they would ordinarily never do.
/r/seduction01/02/13 05:26 AM

I think this is a misunderstanding of the argument. The argument is that they do have a choice but you are pressuring them, influencing them to do something that if you didn't come along and provide that pressure she wouldn't have to deal with. Temptation is a great power, manipulating it to get a girl do something she will regret just seems fucked up. Like christ, abundance theory. Move on to the next one, regardless of your convictions, you can live with out influencing them to do something th…

Link to the comment please, I'd like to read it. I've always come from the general frame that if a relationship was good enough, neither of them would cheat so it's not really my problem, but at the same time that isn't a strong belief of mine and I do have misgivings about it still, so in short I'm pretty split on the issue. I'd love to hear the different perspectives.

Over all, agreed, but hey. Take the meat, throw away the bone. Take the good, leave the bad. You could take ALL of Tyler's/RSD's advice to heart and still not apply it to girls with boy friends. But yeah I definitely hear where you are coming from. For me to do stuff like that I'd have to alter my moral compass

Do you live in a big city? Perhaps the "ratio" of hot girls in a population isn't as high, but it doesn't matter. I live just outside of NYC. Every time I walk the streets of NYC I will see at least a few attractive women. You are being exposed to hundreds, or thousands of people, you WILL find hot chicks.

This list is such bullshit. I would have no way of knowing for myself since I haven't been to any of those places, but fuck that list. Being more serious, this list comes off as very bullshit. Beunos Aires as a 1? No. I've seen Argentinian women before, in fact only 3 in my life, and they were all fucking stunning. The 3 different Argentinian women I ever had the chance of meeting were very hot, so I have a hard time believing that a Beunos Aires would have so few as well. Rio I find a bit hard …

I'm 17 now and just got into this stuff about a year ago as a 16 year old. I haven't tried any of this stuff out mainly because I don't think it's a good idea to practice on girls in school, then be stuck with them after the numerous inevitable rejections, which I don't say in a dejected way, but every one gets rejected. Now imagine spending class with all the girls who've ever rejected you. Yeah fuck that. I'm waiting for college to really hit this shit off though.
/r/seduction27/01/13 01:43 AM

I like RSD for this reason. They don't state their stuff as facts per se, jsut a lot of "this has worked for me, and this is my style" I don't maybe I'm wrong. What do you think about RSD?
/r/seduction27/01/13 01:39 AM
2

This is very important. When you start practicing to be more social, you can't JUST learn to be social around hot women. You need to practice on everybody. That doesn't mean trying to pick up the old women behind you in the grocery line, but just chat people up.
/r/seduction26/01/13 04:17 PM

Dude, do a bootcamp if you're this desperate. Save the money if you have to. RSD is the best company out here. go to their website (www.rsdnation.com) and participate in the forums. There is always more you can do.

Yeah they all have their unique personalities. Brad seems awesome but from where I'm coming from I think I relate more to Jeffy or Tyler, maybe Todd. That is, I was am uncomfortable in social situations where Brad (if I remember correctly) always was social and what ever, but he just didn't know how to pick up girls.

I have the same problem, it stems from insecurity and nervousness, so work on that. Of course that is very general advice, but there you go. One thing if you have a hard time holding a straight face when telling a joke (which I do. Seriously, laughing hysterically before you finish a joke is SO DAMN ANNOYING!!!!!) is to pretend what you're saying is completely serious.

I'm a senior now and I want to start. Why do you say it's a good time? I see it as a pretty shit time to be honest, and if I'm being negative I'm not meaning to be. In school everybody has reputations. Also, fuck ups and blow outs are daily reminders when you see the girls in the hall, or the things that are said about you I was thinking of just trying to break out of my shell socially in HS, but actually approaching girls once I go off to college.

Yes, he couldn't take hints so you just tell him, don't be an asshole about it. OP was a bit of a dick about it. If he worded it nicely there would have been less of a chance that the guy would have gotten offended. "Just so you know..." isn't really dickish but the "So you can stop hitting on her now" is just pushing it. Just be nice for fucks sake... "She has a boyfriend." Or "Not to disappoint you but she has a boyfriend" or something that is just generally nicer. Don't condone this shit, bec…

Yeah. Problem for me is that I will be going to a community college in NYC, so the school won't have dorms and most people will probably just be living where they always have. It's not out of the question to try and find someone who is in the same situation as me and share an apartment, but that is much easier said then done. First I would need to find someone in the same situation, AND I'd have to get along with them. I don't know how do-able that is.. :/
/r/seduction27/11/12 10:23 PM
2

How do you handle the situation when the girl asks to go to your place? Do you just saying "No, I live with my parents/roommates"?
/r/seduction27/11/12 04:01 AM
1

Good point with the parents. It definitely depends on each persons parents, but generally if they aren't ANTI sex and whatever, then they either won't give a fuck, or they WANT you to get laid. My mom used to push me to have a relationship (which entails getting laid, so same shit) all the time.
/r/seduction27/11/12 03:38 AM

Got any tips for this? I'm about to move into NYC for college and will probably have either roomates or live with my uncle, in which case OP's problem will also be my own.

I've tried to have more patience with my mom but it's really hard. Maybe it's part of being a teenager but I lose my patience with her a lot. I can't depend on her for nearly anything, and she is lazy. She does nothing around the house, and the house is a mess because of it. I never have friends come over because I'm embarrassed of it. Furthermore I'm only there half the week, so it's not like I can clean all the time anyway. Which is also to say that I'm not going to be the only one responsible…

Also. look at everyone in a group when you talk. It is a great communication skill that seemingly no one uses. It makes people feel included and like you are talking to them (which you are). I don't understand... what are "good beta traits"?
/r/seduction12/09/12 12:47 AM

If something doesn't increase your value, don't send it. This is probably the only thing I really disagreed with. I'd say text rarely just because in person is more intimate and it makes your time together that much more valuable AS WELL AS not sucking material for you to really talk about at length in person.
/r/seduction12/09/12 12:41 AM
3

One that immediately comes to mind is the idea that if you avoid talking to a girl you will be upset at yourself for not having talked to her. If you do talk to her and get rejected, it still might suck, but it would have sucked anyway. At least you made an attempt. Also, if you really change your attitude where you really don't give a fuck if you're rejected, then it doesn't even have to be a negative thing.
/r/seduction12/09/12 12:39 AM

You have 30 conversations a day? I can't help but feel like this is extremely exaggerated.

I've talked to a few people that I don't know so far in school but often I don't even avoid it like I used to, I just have no idea what to say. I'll just be completely blank on what to talk about. First time talking isn't as bad as other times, because by then I've especially run out of things Ito talk about, and along with the OP, I'm really not interesting, to be honest.
/r/seduction08/09/12 04:26 AM

It's common to have FB friends that you never talk to in real life... I have almost 200 friends (not a lot by any means), and almost all of them I've AT BEST have had maybe one encounter with, some of them I didn't even know they went to my school (I go to one of the most populated high schools in the US) and what not. Personally, I don't add people I don't know, but the idea of having a random girl as your FB friend isn't that out outrageous.

No offense but I don't think the first part of your advice is that great. YOu are saying that he needs to have some sort of value/role. Some of those roeles was "cool guy" and "funny" guy. Fro the OP's persepctive, peole seem to think he is funny/cool, but he still not getting invited. Literally your advice in a nutshell is be likeable... I've dealt with teh same thing as the OP, and I have to say that this advice doesn't help me at all. Could you perhaps try explaining it differently? Maybe it …

Go there man! You have the highspeed train thing, you can travel the EU in a matter of hours (or most of it). It's really easy to make friends and a foreigner.

Meaning what exactly? I'm trying to get another perspective on this. I've only heard good things about self-improvement, you are the first I've seen to have a negative opinion on it. Can you elaborate?

I have wondered a little that, if I do "get" this stuff and pull stunners consistently on a weekly basis... how will I ever be able to settle down for a marriage and have a family? That said, the biggest reason I have been scared is simply because I haven't gotten over approach anxiety yet. The other thing is a little worrying, bit it isn't that big in my mind. I do believe that with time and effort I can learn this stuff, so my only long term worry is that, after mastering these skills, I may b…

Yes this helps, especially with the "bitches love pictures" bit haha. I think this is probably true for talking to anyone though. I'm definitely going to try and employ this when I speak to people. Also going to not really knowing what to talk about though, as said that definitely helps, but I don't really know how to pull something out of thin air. For example I was at the museum today with my cousin and aunt. My aunt went to the bathroom and me and my cousin were standing there, I had no idea …

What do you do when someone talks about something that you have no knowledge about? Sayings "Oh wow, that's really interesting" seems a bit dry and disingenuous. Also, could you please elaborate on... Engage the listener. Rocks are boring, but add an emotion people can connect to in how you found the rocks or it was a gift from a loved one and people get interested. Don't overdue it though, otherwise it gets emotionally overbearing. Pay attention to the signals that others are displaying People …

I have an opposite problem though. I will try to do something with out planning, then not feel confident in what I'm doing because, well I really don't know what I'm doing, then stop. Structure gives me groundwork, and i can work off of that and improvise from there, but actually setting the groundwork is a bit tough as a noob.

Good point with the "work on your self" bit. I'm going to try to be, not so much honest because I'm not gonna lie about it, but I'll try to dig into my mind to see why I truly want a girlfriend... What immediately comes to mind is to have someone to care for me, as I care for them. To connect with someone, to have our time spent be meaningful and deep. To enjoy doing the same things. To learn things from her. I mean, to have someone where I make their day just by seeing them, and they do the sam…

Thanks for the great advice man. I'll practice the things you say more. As for the wardrobe, I don't know. I'm going into my senior year of highschool (just to give you an idea). A typical wardrobe for me would be Levi Jeans, with a shirt, like this one (which I actually do own). The "popular" kids in my school dress no better and they have great social lives so I kind of think dress isn't that important, as long I don't look like shit. Am I right? There are so many people telling me to get back…

Hey, I wrote down the list as you said. I was avoiding writing anything you already wrote so I didn't get much since you pretty much covered it all, but I have : The Mall - clothing area, music shop, book store, food court Also in a grocery store, especially when an employee asks me if I need help, try to start up a conversation. I plan on joining a tennis class soon, and something with community service (for school). Other than that I'm not really sure what to do. I could go to the gym but I would need a personal trainer since I am a total noob, but I can't afford one.

What do you mean tell them how I really feel? "Hello sire, do you need help finding anything" "Well not really, but you approaching me reminds me of how people on a dating forum have told me to talk to anyone about anything" I don't know, maybe I'm taking it too literally. Perhaps you could expand on this? Don't worry about the hygiene, that is an easy fix and only recently gotten bad because I've gone weeks with out being with a friend.
/r/seduction22/07/12 08:36 AM

I want to become a real socialite. The hygiene stuff was jsut to help illustrate how I've kind of hit rock bottom. That is easy to fix, but the social part isn't.

It's pretty easy to not be a douche man. You are making it into a big effort. Essentially, don't act like a douche. Approaching people in general with a confident (aka don't-give-a-fuck-what-others-think) attitude is way, way different from being a douche bag. You already know the differences. My advice is you must genuinely want to talk to and learn about them. Listen, ask engaging questions, be funny (personally I struggle a little with the "be funny" part, most people in this subreddit (and o…

I'll correct this sentence for you, only since you are trying to improve. Other wise I wouldn't comment so not to be a dick. Yes, I am sorry. English is not my native language, but I am (or you could say "I'm" instead of I m if you want) actually trying since it seems to annoy so many people. You have pretty good English, people know what you are saying so that's what counts, just have to refine it a bit :) Good luck!

Eye contact basics. When you are listening to someone else: Maintain eye contact. When you are talking to someone else: have moments of eye contact, but don't keep staring at someone as you talk. It gets sort of weird and uncomfortable. Basically, follow the patterns you see when others talk to each other. As for attraction, that gets a little more complicated, and that is what seddit is for : )

My bullshit meter is going off with this guy, but at the same time, there IS some good stuff in this article. Smell is very important, and often overlooked, and the "touching the lower back" is very sound advice, for the same reasons he said.

One step at a time. So true. I am still in the early stages of doing more reading, not applying yet. Still nervous/self doubting. I get shy even around fellow males and often don't talk much unless they are my established friends.
