As a beginner I am constantly paranoid about showing too much interest. Can some experienced people here give some on advice on how much interest to show?

Firstly, if she's a model, she's surrounded by hot, interesting, artsy, etc guys. You could have done everything perfect and still lost her, so don't beat yourself up or get all over-analytical about it.

Secondly, without actually seeing the texts, there's little we can really know about your situation. Maybe it wasn't what you think it was.

Lastly, stop finger-fucking your phone so much. A couple of fun/funny/flirty texts before suggesting a meet up is fine, but don't sit around texting back and forth. Go for the meet as soon as possible. Don't worry about showing "too much" interest by going for the meet. In fact, you can show as much interest as you want as long as you don't come off as desperate or needy. Think about that distinction for a while.

Being too interested is seeking her approval (you want her to like you and you need her to validate that). Acting disinterested is still seeking her approval (you're fearful of looking needy and scaring her off). Two sides of the same coin.

Women deserve more credit than men give them. If you're a guy with a strong solid presence that doesn't come across as 'just another drone', she will be pleased if you show interest. If you have standards and can walk away from her, if you have shit going on in your life that means you're not able to be on your phone messaging her constantly...this stuff means that you don't need to worry about acting non-needy and if you're messaging too much.

Often the reason women go cold on us is not because we are needy, but because they think we aren't interested enough. They think we see them as 'just another girl who will do for now' and want a guy who actually likes them above all other women.

Don't make plans for her. Make plans for yourself and invite her to enjoy your presence. Make sure you're enjoyable, though. No one wants to bang a boring guy.
