Asked a couple of random girls at the library how I should approach girls and talk to them, anyone here care to elaborate on their somewhat vague suggestions?

First of all, never ask girls for advice on what a man should say or behave like. It's like a girl asking a guy how she should put on her makeup.

Also, being "creepy" depends completely on how attractive you are. Two guys of differing physical attractiveness can do/say the exact same thing with one banging the girl in half and hour and the other getting a hysterical "Get away from me!" So what can you do to become attractive? Hit the gym and lift weights.

As for picking up girls in the library, it's tricky since you cannot talk very loudly or at all. One thing you can do is pass notes. Open with "Hey, what are you working on?" And if she replies, immediately cut the crap and be honest: "Honestly I just came here cause I thought you were cute (or some variation)." Daygame 101.

In general, I think you should aim for the number. Any physical escalation would be inappropriate in this setting. But you're welcome to try.

That's awesome you are approaching and getting it done!! Awesome effort. I truly don't believe there is some magical thing I can tell you that will just zap your beliefs and attitudes. The only thing you can do is just keep practicing like this.

The question you ask the girls is really good to as it is honest and congruent with your feelings. That is a respectable quality in all walks of life, not just seduction.

IMO girls have a sixth sense when it comes to smelling out bull shit and finding true confidence. That being said, I have approached girls while being extremely nervous and things have worked out because they are humans, and understand that going up to a new girl and putting your balls on the line can be a frightening experience and a lot of guys just DONT DO IT.

So keep doing what youre doing bro. Do other things as well that will naturally build your confidence. Focus on your studies. Hit the gym (this will help you naturally build more testosterone which girls can also pick up on). Take care of yourself, eat healthy, find hobies that are not related to girls. We're all gonna make it!

What they are saying, which they are unable to put into words because defining attraction is extremely difficult and even more so for girls, is simply the fact of not being needy.

The specific things they mention have one thing in common, and that is how you take care of your life. If you read between the lines they are saying they want you to be interesting - really genuinely interesting and this isn't something you can fake. I guess you could but why on earth would you.

By being comfortable around yourself you've developed habits and hobbies rather than focusing on picking up girls with canned lines. Maybe you have a job, and maybe you thrive for this job so much that it actually inspires people. Same thing applies to school where you have set goals for your future. Again, it's all about how you carry yourself mentally and physically. Women notice these things, and they notice it very easily.

The opposite of this would be neediness and that's essentially what they mean with creepy. If you do not have any goals or hobbies then women won't feel your desire to aspire in life. If you don't treat yourself well by dressing well, grooming well, focus on what really matters for you, and more or less have your life figured out, how would you be able to figure out a life with a girl?
