First opinion and knee jerk reaction is "don't do it".

But, I feel like a parent trying to tell his son not to drink. I know you're going to do it, so I might as well make sure you do it right.

Gaming girls at work is easy. Painfully easy. The two things you have to do is:

Don't be a fucking creep
Be mysterious

What I did was try to get a group together that does stuff outside of work. After you're done, just tell everyone you're meeting at some place for drinks or food or whatever and make sure the girl you're gaming comes along. It's a slow process, but you can make it work.

From there, just isolate and continue gaming as you normally would.

Don't do it. Don't risk making the work place awkward/uncomfortable, and many businesses have policies against this. Truly. Do not.

can work---> can cause problems after. If you do it right and she doesnt mind the one night stand/breakupt/whatever the eventual outcome is it should be fine, but if it goes tits up......you have to work with her.

I had a nasty incident once. If she gets a bit drunk/tipsy and after that she's willing to make out/go out/whatever do not do it, or do not escalate. Young girls lose their senses fast, especially when under alcohol and the next they day she'll think you were the biggest mistake ever. I had this non sense happen to me although she was poking at me for like a week beforehand.

tl;dr Approach when both of you are sober. Else she'll consider you a mistake and never speak to you again, thus making the work place a horrid, awkward place for you.
