The more you invest in yourself (lifestyle, courage, how well you communicate) the less needy you'll appear. If you continue being as needy as you say you are, the attraction will go away. Try something new or fun.Honestly, make some male friends as well, they'll be there for you when you need them

Great comment. Have more important things in your life than your girl. It's one of my favourite ideas from The Way of the Superior Man. David Deida talks about how, even though you might love your girl, you should still have a mission that takes precedence over her. Logically she wants to win by getting more of your attention and having you think about her all the time, but she wants to feel like she's with a winner more.
