I got stood up 2 hours ago. She texted me saying she actually wouldn't be able to make it because she is ill. I can understand how you feel, it's embarrassing and shattering. I responded in a friendly way with 'hope you feel better soon, maybe see you another day' and left it at that.

I think the most important thing is to not let it get to you. Don't send her an aggressive text message (especially if you still want something to happen with her). She didn't let you know she wasn't going to be there so don't contact her at all. Let her come to you first.

Hopefully she has just been really forgetful or there was some confusion on her end.

Hmm. I got stood up @ a bar recently. I texted got no reply. I then tried to call and got no answer. So, I said f' it.. and began drinking while watching sports on t.v. Later that night she texts me "my phone died." I didn't get mad. (Like they say, never get mad, or bring up old things.) So, I'm like "it's cool, don't worry about it." I end up asking her about the new place she moved into. I jokingly asked "whats the building number?" She gives it to me with ease. Long story short; I went over that night and sexy time ensued.

Moral of the story. Don't get mad (at least don't show it) or bring up old things that made you mad. Wait it out, maybe something happened. If you don't get a reply back after a day in your case then, move on. Main thing go about your business. Bitches be weird sometimes. YMMV.

Happened to me a couple of months ago, it's nearly impossible to not let the person know somehow. A call, a text, something, the chances are low something happened to her phone just at this time. Sleeping in is a shit excuse and you shouldn't put up with it. If she cared enough, she would have planned for it. Move on.

Probably was the wrong Starbucks but anyway, I would just ignore it. I don't think confronting her would change her behavior. Just find a new girl. If a girl gave you such disrespect, why would want to talk to her again? But this does happen. Don't get upset over it and move on.

Judge women by their actions, not their words. If your curious, ask for an explanation, but in the end she didnt have the decency to show up, or remember. NEXT!

Hold yourself to the highest respect dude. Tell her how you feel about being stood up, and communicate that you wont be treated like a chump. Make her feel bad about being self centered, or just break contact. If you don't respect your time, she wont either.

I remember a tip in an RSD video to prevent your situation. About an hour or two before the date. Text or call her saying you're going to be running fifteen minutes late. This gives her an opportunity to let you know she's going to flake. It also serves as a casual reminder that you guys have a date scheduled without sounding needy.

Ask her what happened. Ask her why she didn't tell you she wasn't going to show. The rest depends on what she says.
