Very true. There are a few dudes who comment all day every day on here who are clearly clueless. And so many posts from a high school kid.

But there are nuggets deep in here. Just gotta dig for them.

Like any educational opportunity, you get out of it what you put into it.

seddit is a free forum and we have a general belief that you don't have to pay money or follow some guru in order to improve your social ability with women. But we're not here to spoon feed you the knowledge. You have to take responsibility for your own education. That means you go out and get some practical experience, and with some experience, you start to learn what sources of information are reliable and work well for you.

You don't need to have a master PUA to help you move forward. You just need some guys who are on the same path, but maybe a few steps ahead of you. They know what direction you need to go. Lots of guys are completely clueless and even a relative noob can help them gain some perspective.

I made a post on here earlier describing how most this subreddit is equivalent to that of a hockey subreddit where users are asking how to skate.

The metaphor is that you need to be an extremely proficient skater before you even start playing hockey.

Similar to how to you need to have at least 100 approaches before you even try applying anything you learn here.

I can't stress this enough. Just going up and doing minimal 100 approaches is a prerequisite for this hobby. It's detrimental, required, non-negotiable.

You're just totally fucking yourself if you try this without the 100 approaches. How can you even attempt to try some sort of logical game when you can't even sit still or not sweat. There was a gif that was posted here of neo doing that shit without trying, no man on the face of the earth can be that way with a pretty girl. None. However, after all those approaches you can calm yourself down. You still get nervous, but you learn to love that shit, fuckin LIVE for that shit.

The second problem is trying to make the game static.

I see dudes talking about approach anxiety and what to do here, and bla bla bla, as any of that shit is static.

The key to this entire game is learning how be dynamic. That's it, in a nutshell, going to any place, venue, girl, or situation, scanning it, and adapting to just going with the flow, and gaming that shit.

Mother fucker I can game a McDonald if i need to, and I have

lots of People here don't have the approaching down yet, learning how to just not be nervous, and having adequate understanding of social situations,

then....

they try applying some bullshit scriptbook, playing out a scene that just doesn't work.

This is why the subreddit has gone to shit, and this is why it will never get better.

You cannot even fathom how much your game will get better if you just get those 100 approaches out of the way.

The standard of proof is none. If you are decent writer with time on your hands, you are an authority. Come to think of it- that's how this scam-ridden cesspool got founded anyway.

Well, words without solid proof will always suffer this criticism. Even this article suffers from it. We are reading words on a page, not seeing anyone demonstrate the actual application of concepts.

Look your sexiest. Dress your sexiest. Be/Learn to be as socially free as possible.

"Social freedom" is an awkward way to phrase it but least it's elaborated afterwards by specifying confidence.

And while grooming is important, it's also a little awkward to phrase it as, "looks," & "style." I've seen guys pull good looking girls when they weren't even trying, in terms of "style," and they looked like trolls, but they had confidence. And I've seen guys with style and looks who killed their chances due to lack of confidence. Everyone should take care of themselves, but looks and style are so subjective that you can't be everything to every girl.

If they want to say that inner game is important, that's true. But the total pitch comes off like they're trying to brand themselves and some "formula" that doesn't require thinking. Just be sexy, have good style, and get out there and touch girls confidently. I can only imagine that readers are supposed to be spoon-fed what they should think "good style," and "good looks," are.

And it's limited: this approach only fits a certain guy who's looking for a certain situation. One who is just DTF, looking for a very disposable interaction with a girl who often don't value herself very highly. Which is fine. But anyone looking for anything more, will be screening out girls who aren't DTF on Day 0 but would be later with a little consideration, and screening out more seriously minded girls because those girls respond poorly to a guy who tries to bulldoze his way in.

.....you can probably guess why most PUA forums are completely worthless......There is hardly any pictures of anyone's looks.....There is hardly any pictures of anyone's style......There is hardly any indication of anyone's social freedom.

Plus we have no idea which girls are sexually available and which are not.

Simply looking at a guy's appearance, looks, and style, don't give a clear indication one way or another about the more significant inner game issues. And plenty of what guys post when they ask for help, points at exactly what their inner game issues are, which means they can definitely be helped. [The guy in one of their examples] had CLEAR indications of mindset and confidence issues. Which would sink him regardless of what his looks and style are.

Of course, I agree that a lot of the Keyboard Jockeys are not up to the task of rending that help. And when they take over a thread, it's not helpful.
