Well brother, the good news is that like muscles, once they have been built it is much easier to rebuild them if you have let them atrophy.

You already know what you need to do and how to do it and getting back to where you were shouldnt be as hard as the first time.

This is pure gold, i tell people this all the time. You revert to habits when your nervous, if your on a continued hot streak there isn't much recent memory of failure, girls love that confidence.

And just like going to the gym, you MUST do it multiple times a week. I'd say atleast 4 times a week. I know so many guys in the community who barely go out, it's fucking ridiculous. The greatest summer of my life consisted of me going out 6 nights a week. No matter what i'd make sure i was out sarging.

Most newbies don't know about momentum(i think rsd guys call it immersion). Go out 5-6 nights a week, every week, for a month and i guarantee you that you will be a entirely new person and you will become the best version of yourself. TRULY throw yourself into the deep end constantly and you'll become a damn good swimmer.

I agree because I've been in the same situation. First semester this year I was approaching and was confident in conversing with girls. This semester I've been shocking because I stopped over the semester break. Today, I met up with a mate and he was with 2 girls, 1 who I used to be close with earlier this year. Anyhow, I was silent as anything, felt anxious around them and just couldn't bring myself to say anything other than 'hey, sup'. Shocking really.

Time to start from the bottom again I suppose.

Speaking of which, how should I go about talking to girls AT the gym? I'm not sure how to do it as some people are there to socialize, while others are there solely to work out and nothing else.

It is so true. Talking to girls, any girl, about anything everyday is so important. You'll cross points, that'll not revert back in your social skills. But your ability to approach beautiful women will revert.
