Don't use alcohol as a crutch and abuse it - take a few drinks if you'd like, but don't go overboard and showboat.

Talk to her, then pull a 180 and go talk to somebody else. This party is your chance to up your social proof – you have to talk and be buddy-buddy with every guy and girl. Make guys high five you and scream your name, make other girls laugh at your jokes. When she sees how sociably desirable you are she'll want to hang around you, this is when you don't give her the attention she wants. It'll only make her want your attention even more.

Then after an hour or so of mingling with everybody, you pull her to a part of the party where you guys can chat 1-on-1 and work your magic. Don't smile excessively, keep up the eye contact and overall just be loose. She's just a girl, if you fuck up, realize there's always many more out there.

I have a halloween party tomorrow as well – a girl I like will be there. I'm prepared to rock the fuck out of that party and have some fun, I hope you're ready too.
