this one doesnt have my number so just let her message on fb or be the first one with a side note of "heres my number"

Pick up your phone and text her this, right now: "Hi this is ___, here's my number / now you have my number. (!)"

No smiley faces, dumb emoticons, etc. Use an exclamation point if you want but honestly this doesn't have to be over the top.

How long to ask her out again? Dude if you have something in mind then just mention it to her now. Otherwise, wait 2-3 days before an event and probe her and see if she wants to..

"Hey, I'm going out to the bars on Friday with some friends, you should come."

"Come to my house Saturday evening, we'll make dinner."

Obviously first of all give her your number, send her a text saying "this is X's number"

If the date went well theres no reason not to set up the next date as soon as possible.

Texting can be fun if you make it fun, if you're worrying about if you "said the wrong thing" or if you're going to, then just dont bother trying to run text game because it's not going to go well and you'll be making submissions every time you send a text.

You should be sending her funny pics etc when you're not together, not trying to be needy or act like her bf, it's hard to build attraction simply via text which is why most people fail so miserably at it, especially when they're first trying it.
