This is a question concerning one girl, but really is a broader question. Getting serious is something people are going to regularly have to deal with if their first few dates go well. I'm dating this amazing girl that I cold approached at my university a few weeks ago. She's probably the prettiest girl I've ever dated, is extremely funny, smart, etc. We've gotten pretty physical already although have not had sex yet, and our first few dates have gone great. My challenge, however, is handling the post-third date stage. We have both told each other that we are attracted to each other, but it's at this period that I get confused as to where I should steer us/where we're going. I do think that I'd be interested in a long term relationship with her, but I also don't want to rush into anything before it's ready to happen. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to continue to keep the fire going; keeping her interested without getting too intense? Or is it as simple as talking about it with the person of interest?

PS- If this question belongs in a different sub I'll be more than happy to put it there instead!
