What's up seddit. Happy New year! A time where everyone gets a blank slate and new horizons are theirs to conquer. But most of the fiery passion dies off within weeks. I'm here to help you find ways and reasons to make the core principles of seddit really stick in order for you to have a more attractive life that you will ultimately be satisfied with (trust me girls will be satisfied with it too). Been reading and applying the principles here for 3 years now and it's done nothing but good and I hope the same can happen to you.
Life begins with you
Remember the quote by Gandhi "Become the change you wish to see in the world." Now while probably intended for a more noble cause than getting laid, it applies to our personal lives quite well. If we want to see change in our lives, we must become that change. If you think your life isn't very fulfilling or exciting, the only person who will change that is you. No friend (or woman) will be able to (or want to) change your life into what you've always dreamed of. Your life is on you. Full responsibility. It even benefits you to accept responsibility for things outside of your control. This will inevitably lead to continual self improvement rather than a victim complex, and that is really the first step to becoming the best version of yourself: Accept responsibility for your failures and understand that there is no one to blame (or praise) for your failure (or success) other than you. While that may not always hold completely true ground, it is a great mindset for improving.
Love yourself... But make sure you are worth loving
The age old adage "Be yourself". Why does it always seem to work for the attractive alpha male but never for the downtrodden and struggling everyday man? While it IS very important to know yourself and be yourself, you also need to be someone that is worthy of being proud of. If you are not truly 100% proud of the person you are down to your core, you have some work to do (we all do). Imagine your perfect girl. Now imagine the perfect guy who is dating her. Make steps every day toward becoming that guy. No excuses. Does the perfect guy brush his teeth every night, no excuses? Does he keep his emotions in check, no excuses? Is he honest and vulnerable with the people he cares about, no excuses? Really what I'm getting at here with this second point is this: Strive to be genuine, but not just that. Strive to be genuinely perfect. I read somewhere on here that perfect is boring. Fuck that. Become the perfect version of yourself, for yourself. Other people will like you more.
Love the game
And not just the results. You have to enjoy losing too. Not as much as winning, sure, but the fundamental act of being in the game and talking to women should be something you find fun, not something you force yourself to do. Talk to everyone. Why not? Talk to a woman with no intention other than to become a better conversationalist. Talk to dudes, they're chill. Especially talk to women you find attractive. You'd be silly not to. The more you talk to people, the more you'll realize that everyone is interesting. Don't become one of those people who "hate people". You'll be happier.
Push boundaries with girls and with yourself
Escalating physically with girls you find attractive is key to getting anywhere, yes. More importantly you need to be escalating past your own comfort zone. Everyone has had that moment where they could have talked to/kissed/fucked a girl but were too worried about the outcome to escalate. That's not a problem with you escalating with her, it's a problem with you not being comfortable with your own actions. Take calculated risks. If things are going well, kiss her. If she looks at you and smiles, talk to her. Women are cryptic creatures, and if you try to deconstruct everything they do and say you will get nowhere. Just go with your instinct. Note: Never push past a boundary she is obviously not comfortable with. There's a difference between a girl saying "no we can't" while you're making out with her and a girl saying "no, stop" in a serious tone. Learn the difference. Sexual assault is super uncool.
Remember, it's a process not a bullet
Learning anything takes time. This is a skill that will be useful to you for the rest of your life. Learn it correctly. Don't just take things at face value. Try them out, test things, try everything. Only two things matter in the game: Results and dignity. Attain both. Failure is fine, we've all failed. Don't give up. If the game becomes frustrating, take a break and focus on yourself. If life becomes stale, bring some more people into it. The world is your playground. Don't ever back down.
These are some really broad basics that will get you in the right mindset for some of the more specific things on this sub. I am a big proponent of inner game before outer game for long term results. Good mindset will leave you in a better mood after a bad night than good lines will. Just remember: they're just girls, what's the big deal? Lovers and friends come and go but yourself you have to deal with forever. Focus on you and you will quickly improve in your relationships with others.
Cheers, happy New year! Hope this helps at least one person become the person they want to be (:
