I recently moved to San Francisco, first for interviews(for three weeks) and then permanently(last two months). For most of that time, I have been day gaming consistently, probably 2-4 days/week. My goal has always been to find a girl that is so awesome that it'd make me want to not game. That goal hasn't been met yet but I decided to analyze my experiences to help me improve. Note: I only approach Asian girls.

Results after 11wks:

  • 9 actual dates

(*I usually only take a girl's number after she agrees to a concrete date. I had to make major exceptions to this in past month to accommodate tourists and girls leaving town over next few days or in middle of exams. I expect a few of these dates to still happen when college begins though almost all #s of tourists were complete waste of time)

Key Trends:

  1. I only got 1 girl in 8 weeks of gaming in Nov/Dec vs. 3 from 3 weeks of gaming in October When I came back to SF to start my job in Nov., it just felt different and nothing like October. The two main demographics you encounter most in the city(college/english students & tech workers) were leaving town for vacations or studying for exams. What it means: months of Nov and December suck AND YET the cutest of the four girls was a girl I met few days before New Years eve. Glass is always half full and half empty.

  2. I have been on 2 dates with American-born Asians. In both cases, we ended up sleeping together I probably open 3-4 non-american born girls for every American born Asian simply because you see more of them. Downtown SF is full of art and english students from Asia. The 2/2 may just be noise but it is consistent with my gut feeling that my present opener hooks more with American Asian women. What it means: I should find places in SF with more American Asian women. May be college campuses away from downtown SF.

  3. 12 of 31 numbers were of tourists or out of staters. They yielded 0 dates, 0 kisses, 0 lays Another stunning stat! There were lots of sets in last two months of year of tourists in town for few days. I found pursuing these women somewhat frustrating but often they were fairly cute so I'd persist. But only now am I realizing that almost a third of my numbers belong to a single demographic that has 0% chance of success and have no chance of fulfilling my main goal of finding a gf. What it means: I won't waste time with tourists in future. If she's a tourist, I will eject.
