Redpill community normally calls out "White Knights" rightly as pathetic. I think this creates a stigma where guys will not stick up for a woman ever out of fear of being labeled as this lowest of the low white knight beta.

My question is where is the golden mean? Women need men to be protected, but no one wants to be that guy in the bar that starts ranting at a guy cause he doesn't understand his girls feels!

Say for instance you're talking to a girls you just met and she gets disrespected by a guy, what about on a first date. etc.? What if she's your girl and unjustifiably gets mad at a guy and wants you to stick up for her? I'm not expecting a homogenous answer just interested in your opinions on when it is proper to play the role of protector..
