Yup most men are pretty stupid about how they try to gain affection and seem to think the girl will be around as long as they want because they have an unrealistic personal ego, thinking they're all that and then some and actually they're just a dumbass who doesn't ever self-evaluate. Watching and taking movies and tv shows too seriously or something. Lots of guys in bars and clubs are pretty bad, not just your friends. Should give you confidence really.

All the time. There was a short period where I tried to give helpful tips to these AFCs but that just created weirdness.

Unfortunately, the best course of action is just to stay out of it.

Most of my friends who are in long term relationships are real AFCs about it. They drop everything, they ask for permission to do anything, and they get dragged along to stuff like engagement parties and shit like that for their GF's friends who they don't particularly know or like. Then good luck getting them to go out for a few drinks!

But meh, it's their choice. There are plenty of girls I could have been in a relationshit like that with, but I'd be ready to top myself knowing I was locked away from ever being with a girl who would let me do what I want and be myself. I can't imagine anything worse. Watching all the girls you actually want passing you by because presumably you just want the security of mediocre sex.

Yes even my friends and family I see the unattractive behavior. I've kind of lost respect for a lot of my family members because they are so weak and bend like a plastic spoon for their gf/wife. Even my own dad is like this.
