So I am back after about a three year hiatus from r/seduction and I realized that my departure from this subreddit is really a testament to its effectiveness. In the light of giving back and hopefully encouraging some folks, I wanted to post about it.

Three years ago I was an average frustrated chump. I was 21 yo in college, and had good friends, but I'd really only hooked up with a few girls I had met early on. I actually had no problem meeting women through my friends, but most never really saw me as a potential partner. With the few who did, I would always either blow it and not escalate or develop oneitis and lose the girl.

This was a trend for a while, and I was pretty pathetic. Even after I could sort-of talk to women, I once blew it with an amazing girl who totally wanted me, but I just was too anxious. She has now gone on to become a model.

As I started approaching women though I slowly learned from experience. I wasn't even reading PUA material really. I read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence people, and half of Neil Strauss' The Game but mostly I was just on here, basically lurking. I was getting good sleep, eating healthy, talking to all the women, going to the gym and doing new things. I started working on fixing up an old bicycle and taking yoga classes.

Eventually I found women were really paying attention to me. Even the women already in my life were taking notice. A really hot girl I had been friends with for a while wanted to fuck me, and I dated and k-closed a really hot 27 year old woman who worked in my school's registrar office (even though she wasn't allowed to date students).

I was talking to every girl I met. I was getting numbers. Everyone was interested in me. Things were actually going so well I just sort of stopped coming on here because I didn't need it.

After maybe 4-5 months of self improvement, I ended up meeting my now ex-GF. We dated for two and a half years and it was amazing. She is the kind of girl I would have never spoke to at the beginning. She's insanely attractive, a great dancer, and really smart and successful. Our relationship was solid but our careers have taken us apart. We broke up amicably about a month ago (I also believe this was easier as a result of personal/social skills I developed through improving myself).

Im not gonna lie, the breakup was rough and I reverted to AFC mode a bit in the last month but I'm back to dating now and things are going awesome. I honestly don't even have enough time to see all the girls I'm meeting (I miss college!). So I just want to say: keep at it, talk to women, and things will improve.

tl;dr: Talk to women and focus on your self. Your life will change for the better, and you might find exactly what you were looking for.
