rAFC here. A few months ago I picked up this HB8.5 using the cocky funny routine; told her she was my wife put my arm around her, paraded her around and talked about it. blah blah blah. # closed at end of night by saying "I don't always call the girls I get numbers from but when I do, its because there's something awesome to do." She laughed and I felt like the man for using a meme in field.

She seemed to have a good time and started texting me after. I saw her a few times after but nothing really came of it. Later I find out she has a BF so I stop trying really. (she never talked about it to me but someone else mentioned it. I never brought it up) Still flirted here and there when I saw her but wasn't actively pursuing.

Anyways so I find out she is transferring out of state (cross country) and ask her to hang out. She says I owe her an omelette (something about a late night diner near a party I saw her at) so I offer to cook her one. She accepts so we make plans for my place.

I pick her up from campus and she comes over, we watch a funny anime show shes into. I am kinoing slightly but she seems weird about it. She withdraws a bit and leans towards other side of couch. After the first episode I cook her the omelette. She puts on some zombie movie that we talk through. I still kino, shes showing no IOIs she ends up laying down towards the other side and I just sit close kinoing a bit with feet on the coffee table. We had great conversation and seemed to really connect but IOIs were lacking and she seemed to avoid eye contact. Movie ends were still talking. Finally I realize I'm getting bored and have no idea where to go from here so I take her home.

After I drop her off she texts me: "my friend thinks it sexy you cooked an omelette keep up the good work." I keep telling myself that she must of wanted something and I feel dumb for not going for it since I'll probably never see her again. I'm not sure what kind of moves I should of made or how I should have built tension. I feel like I know how to get a girl to talk or hang out but have problems shifting to next phase.

Also the BF thing may have been causing problems for me, I kind of have issues with this. Even though she never brought it up and literally acted like it was non-existent. (perhaps that bothered me even more?) Any suggestions?

tl;dr Executed good game, then girl came over, nothing happened. I feel like I need help with phase shift, techniques for building tension, subtle hints, etc?
