You're almost ALWAYS better off admitting you're nervous or whatever rather than trying too hard to seem cool.

While honesty is great, you're using honesty as an excuse to avoid taking action. Straight up. You don't want to be responsible so you're delegating it to her.

A date isn't about the activity that you guys do. Like if a girl goes out with you, she goes out with you because she wants to hang out with you. It's not because that coffee shop makes great lattes or that restaurant has awesome bread (unless she's a gold digger, but you wouldn't date them anyway). So it doesn't really matter what you guys do. As long as you guys have fun and create some connection/intimacy.

You're massively overthinking this. But maybe it's one of those phases you need to go through in order to learn from it. For now, just pick something that you think will be fun.

Admitting you don't know where you should go is you not taking the leadership postilion very early in the relationship - which is exactly where you should be showing dominance and alpha qualities. The girl doesn't like a man (errr, boy) who can't even come up with one place to go do the first time. How would you ever keep her interested in the future she's thinking.
