I want to get to know a girl who goes to my Karate class. Problem is that there are very few chances to talk. Help please.

I'd suggest coming a bit earlier and talking to her or staying after class and talk to her then. The Karate class I go to has a bunch of 10 year olds, so take my advice with a grain of salt haha. Hope this helps!

I was a karate instructor for 9 years and I think the best way, so long as you're not being a creep about it, would be to catch her after class and compliment her on her techniquues and see if maybe she could give you a few pointers for a few minutes after class. That's if the instructor has some extra space you could use. Ask her about how she remembers her combinations or follow up with asking why she got started in lessons. Again if she's not comfortable just be respectful and say ok. It's ALL about respect and for women COMFORT is a huge thing I've seen. Men are usually overconfident when they start martial arts but women are usually far more self-conscious in that area. If she feels awkward, chances are she won't tell her instructor, she will just quit coming. Hope this helps. And remember eye contact and smile.
