I could use a hand from the response kings/queens round these parts.

See normally conversation isnt an issue, I pick a topic from a previous sentence and spin it into a new chain, my problem occurs when you have a roadblock type exchange.

Example: "Hows that working out? Met anyone interesting yet?"

"Not yet, unfortunately."

Little short sentences like this really throw me for a loop, dont know why but my brain just locks up here, which is not good, my text game is weak enough as it is.

So seddit, how would you respond to the above? (And yes my conversation skills need some work.)
