What are some good tricks/games to make approaching happen?

Use eye-contact, once you get a smile from the girl then smile+approach. only approach girl you actually find interesting. The value of random cold-approach is vastly over-rated(unless you are trying to desensitize/challenge yourself). Nothing wrong with easing into it gradually and building confidence that way.

edit: imo the only time cold approach is really good is when you have confidence enough to go "horny caveman" at clubs and screen out girls who are not interested fast by being very physical.

its pretty simple: dont think, just start walking towards the girl.

A friend and I were at a beach party recently and also struggled to approach. What we did was give another friend of ours our phones and cash, with the instruction not to give it back to us ever if we didn't approach.

Have your friends 'choose' who you approach. If you say no, or don't approach, drinks are on you.
