Hi there. Long time fan of this subreddit. I am still in the novice stages of picking up girls. Everytime I go for one, I usually get their number. From there, it's a whole 'nother story, but here is my problem.

I take public transportation everyday and see a pretty girl everyday. I occasionally make eye contact with these girls, however, then I freeze and don't know what to do. Should I say hi to them even if I am walking behind them? An "excuse me"? Typing this out is helping, but I still do not know how to break the ice. Is it as simple as hi once we have established eye contact?
