in conversation, sometimes i get dismissed and the girl just nods and looks at her phone or talks with her own friends instead i notice i say really random...

Then I'd go as far as to say that telling people to not have some kind of filter is stupid, as it will make you look like a social retard.

Don't get me wrong, though. It's possible to make it work, and I know a couple of people who do make it work, but they are very confident, extremely comfortable in their own skin and got social skills and experience up the wazoo. So unless you're that kind of person, saying totally random shit like that is going to make you look like an uncalibrated weirdo with no clue as to how social interactions work.

In other words unfiltered works, but only for a special kind of person(ality). If you get blown out consistently because you say totally random shit, then drop it. It might not be your style, at least not for the time being, so go for more normal stuff instead.
