Models is a great book to start with, but A LOT of people read this book and think they consumed all knowledge there is in the world??!!!

Models wasn't the first book that I read that was highly focused on improving yourself and that wrote off the traditional PUA community teachings.

However, it was the first book that did a great job of showing me how I can change and how attraction works with measurable steps to take to improve myself day by day.

It was the first book I read that lead to concrete, positive results in my life when I started implementing it's advice (and I had been involved in the community as far back as 2005 without much success).

This doesn't mean it's the best book for everyone, nor does it mean that people should stop reading other books.

Most of what I read now is related to the path that Manson has present since that is my mindset now and it's working well for me.

At the end of the day, I think alot of guys can read just Models and be able to improve their dating life without reading anything else and that is why it's considered somewhat of a "bible" by alot of people here.

Yes, you are right. Models is a really good book that will definitely put you on the right track, but you should never stop reading about this stuff. There is always something new you can learn. I personally recommend David DeAngelos books, specially the first (and most basic) one called Attraction Isn't a Choice. It is an awesome book that explain really well how attraction works

It seems like Models is good for somebody trying to find a wife (or LTR), not somebody trying to find a casual FWB or hook up at a party. Is this true? Because I'm in college and I'm not really interested in a LTR yet, but I go to a lot of college parties, so I don't want to read the rest of it and feel like it's useless.

Models really only has a single good idea in it - polarization. It's view on women is too blue pill and not realistic enough. It also has not practical tactical advice.
