No no no. I tested this technique multiple times in field. In your head it comes off as playful and an attempt to seem like you have many women, but in reality you just come off as a jerk who can't remember a simple name. Think about it, some of the best Managers and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies know several of there employee by name. Would you like a girl pretending to forget your name?

This is way too much in your head. If you think about little "outer game" details like this, you are going in the wrong direction. Think about the bigger stuff.

WTF man :D, I almost never remember the name of the girls I see once in a while. Never paid attention, and it worked pretty well! As a matter of fact, after 5 minutes I ask her to tell me her name again, in an elegant way ofc.

Everyone selfishly loves hearing their own name! Instead, impress her with your excellent memory, don't dumb yourself down. Making her repeat herself is not a good idea.

I have a hard enough time remembering real names. I either give them a weird but memorable nickname, or a weird real name e.g. "you remind me of my auntie Myrtle. I'm going to call you Myrtle." But I am so horrible at remembering names, I usually call all the women Honey.
