I would suggest that you ask her out for a drink. You need to ask her out in such way that you won't come off as too needy. I suggest saying something like this: "Tomorrow after work at 15 PM I'm going to the cafe to have some drink, you can join me / you can come along." That way you'll put put a lot of pressure off her and it will show her that you'll go to the cafe and have a drink even if she rejects you - a sign that you're not dependent on her decision.

Go shopping or rather meet at the mall, have a coffee, buy the present, play some arcade games or whatever.

The traditional movie/dinner stuff is usually better when you know someone and how they act and what they like. Sitting for two hours with someone you hardly know is not really making progress. dinner you can talk, but dinner comes across as a bit too formal. You sit across from one another for one thing; and again it is more of a planned thing. Its better to be in an informal situation, and to sit side by side or at an angle as this is less confrontational.
