Because what women think they want and what they are actually attracted to are generally two different things.

The kind of info you want comes from the female limbic system, the reptilian brain, the primitive, emotional part of the brain. In females, this part does not communicate well with cerebral cortex, which is where conscious, deliberate decision making is made. So when a woman does something that is motivated by the limbic system, like, for instance, any behavior whatsoever involving a man she finds attractive, her conscious mind has NO. Fucking. Clue. why she just did what she did. This is not hyperbole, and I'm not exaggerating at all. (Men do this too, just not as much on this subject. We've got our own issues with backwards rationalization, they're just different.) The 'real' reason that the limbic system wants her to do whatever, is probably to get her pregnant with hot guy's kid. This reason is not attractive to the conscious mind, but the conscious mind really, really needs to feel/believe that it's in control, so it will make up a reason (if asked) of why she did whatever it was, and believe with all her heart that that was the 'real' reason.

So. Don't hate (they really can't help it, and neither can we). Observe closely, and don't believe what you hear.

We often don't know what good, useful, and practical advice consists of..and focus too much on trying to make the other person feel comforted/supported. Many of us simply don't know any better. We give the same advice that we think we'd like someone to tell us, were we to be in that situation. The need to nurture and be a "people pleaser" is strong, and it's usually easier to be nice than it is to be honest. Telling someone what they need to hear isn't always the same as telling them what they need to hear.

Fortunately, it's not an untreatable flaw, but it does require constant management (as well as a keen sense of self-awareness).

I'm a woman and I have admittedly given bad advice about women. Usually our advice is tainted by our pasts and our experiences...so for example, because I tend to feel like the "needier" one in my past relationships and to an extent my current relationship, I have encouraged my male friends to be very nice, forward, complimentary, etc...which is good once you're in an LTR to an extent, but obviously if you overdo it you'll look like a wimp and it's displaying low value, especially on a first date. But because I've been burned by guys who were TOO jerky/unavailable, it's hard for me to tell a guy to be less available- even though to be honest, I'm aware plenty of my male friends could benefit from that advice. I've been changing it up lately.

Similarly (and I expect downvotes for this) I don't think men give good advice to women usually when it comes to attracting men because they too are tainted by their past experiences. For example I saw an article on ROK that said if you don't respond to a guy's text within 20 minutes you appear flighty and unreliable and the guy will "next" you...but in my experience the more available I look to a man, the less attracted he is. I look like I have nothing else going on in my life! Similarly, I've seen guys on RP sites say that a woman needs to say "I love you" constantly to her significant other...but actually, if I say it too much to my guy, he gets really irritated and needs his space.

I think you're trolling so I'm going to downvote you, but I will answer the question.

It all comes down to solipsism. Women don't understand what's involved in getting them interested or off. They view everything form their point of view and struggle greatly with walking a mile in some one else's shoes.

For example. If I went up to a girl and threw the book of the mystery method at her. Negs, routines, stories, cocky/funny, push pull, DHV. I pick her up. Now if one of her male friends asks her, "what do I say to a women". She said just go say "hello" because that's what I opened with and from her perspective that's all that happened.
