I live 20 min from Santa Barbara which definitely has girls but not many willing to travel 20 min back to my house.

I am living in the city i live in because of the job, and because I am trying to do a startup with some of my friends that live there. Im not crazy about the job but i am about the startup.

The city i live in really doesn't have too many girls, mostly families and older retired people, its a sleepy beach town.

So sometimes I end up in santa barbara. But I can't drink because I'm driving and most of the social life of the city is focused on drinking

I sometimes wonder if moving would help me get into a big city center where everyone is going out all the time and I would meet tons of people and girls...

but maybe I'm just making excuses?

Should I move? I feel trapped but then sometimes I wonder if things would even be better for me if I moved/left anyways...

I am looking for a change of career for which positions don't really exist in santa barbara. So thats another reason to move as well.

But then I don't want to move away from my friends and it would make working on the startup a little bit harder....
