I usually start with pats on the shoulder/arm after a joke. Hi fives for random things. And if she's cool with all of that, I usually ramp it up to a casual side hug and gauge her reaction. By this time she's either reciprocating or made it clear via body language she's not into it.

Obviously everyone's different so you have to gauge the situation and go with the flow.

Stay close to them when you do it so it's more natural and don't make a big deal of it, and really any touching even to get a girls attention counts as kino.

Always make it natural.

There's a huge difference from touching the arm while you are talking to talk and then touch. When we touch in a subtle way and we are distracting the other's mind, the touch estimule goes to the subconscious part of the mind, and it has greater effect.

If you touch and the only estimule the person receives is that, it's awkward.
