When talking to a girl, I constantly find myself saying "uh huh" and nodding when she's talking, or after she says a point I say, "yeah", should I not do this?

I kinda hate when people do this. There's levels to how annoying it can be too. I worked with an older guy who if you were conversing with him he'd go "Uh huh" after literally everything you said but in a sarcastic sounding way like you were annoying the hell out of him.

Or when people just nod their heads constantly. Idk. Personally I will say things like "Ahhh..", "Oh ohhh kay", "Wow." occasionally but I'm not just saying "yeah...yeah...yeah...yeah...yeah..." where it can be so fucking annoying

If what she's saying is uninteresting . . don't say anything. "Be yourself" is actually good advice. Don't act interested just because she is a girl. If she bores you, act bored! she will get the hint and then she'll feel like she has to impress you to get your interest back.

Just replace the words it'll make a big difference. I use "interesting" a lot. To the point of it being commented on. Which works out even better because playfully I can play of it then.

Reading this made me realize I tend to finish their sentence and most of the time it's what they wanted to say. I also say uh huh or yeah when they take forever to get to the point.

If you're really interested, listen and show attention through measured use of interjections (uh-huh, hmm, ah etc.) breaking silence.

It also tends to be appreciated when you can recite and elaborate on what a person has told you. Even if it is only a brief comment.

None of that really matters as long as your comfortable with doing it and it feels natural. ASSUMING you can still can control the frame when you want, convey the tones and messaging while doing the uh huh/yeah's

You suspect wrong. There are exceptions like if your value is way higher than hers, but then she is trying to seduce you -- not the other way around.

Stop thinking in extremes. Yes, it's bad to be too reactive or too complacent, but being "quiet with a slight smirk" will annoy/weird out most women.

One of the best tips I ever got was to treat women the same way you treat guys. It's not seduction, but it's a great first step just to think of them as another human being and not a code to be cracked.

This is actually a good way to build sexual tension, if done right. Like when I do this the mhm's and yeahs are in a lower tenor. I'm looking at her very frankly. It's like I'm saying "mm, look at you.". When the tension becomes more apparent, I smirk about it. We might laugh a little about it. Anything I say at that point will have a sexual undertone. At this point I'm probably twice as close as I was before, and kissing usually feels like the right thing to do to both of us.
