Yeah, you need a plan. Not action, but a plan of action. That way you can psych yourself up to take action.. someday. Or maybe not, maybe you need more planning. Maybe you should make a plan about how to decide what sort of planning you need before you can make a plan to take action.

Or you could just do something, maybe even something not related to studying. Like going to get a cup of coffee.

Just start asking her personal question, about her life. Predict her future, talk about her hobbies. tease her, put in a complement.

Just work your way closer to her and find ways to have fun with study time. Find some snacks and share them. Find a problem she's figured out and get close so she can explain it to you. You can joke around with study music and put on something stupid like Marvin Gaye. Just make it fun, then after studying, figure out how to recover with food and/or drinks. Maybe kick back with a movie together. Make her feel like the smart one and make her feel brilliant when she figures out something tough. Then look for the opportunity.

What I like to do is keep the conversations light hearted and fun. Make sure you study and go over what you're supposed to, but keep it fun and throw in some jokes. It's okay to get off topic for a bit and get to know her, but at a certain point just make sure you get back to studying or else she'll most likely know you're not there to study. Kino is important too. I also don't like sitting across from girls. Sit next to them. I read that on here and it's helped tremendously.

If you have only known her for a week you are hardly in a study buddy zone. The problem is you are putting yourself there before you even try. You need to forget about past girls and start escalating.

Do you have her number to txt her right now? You can easily already be behind a guy in this or another class that had the balls to get her number. Your thought that you could be going too fast is just self deception to avoid asking for a number.
