Well, did YOU have a great time as well? If you like the girl, just go ahead and text her back now and be honest! This whole "how long should I wait" business is so annoying. Then again, I'm super impatient. :) I vote text her back now though!

Just say something along the lines of "yeah tonight was great we should definitely do it again"

If she's into you she'll take "we" to mean just you two. If she's not she'll take "we" to mean the whole group. Unless she wants to be difficult you won't really lose with that response, me thinks.

I think you are overthinking it just a little bit. There really isn't a 'rule' on how long you should wait. But as personal preference, I usually wait 5-10mins before I reply.

And to respond, you should tell her that you felt that way too and should take her out to get to know her better.
