Its a little weird to approach here in England, we dont have that sort of sex and dating culture like americans do. That being said, i wanna be the one to approach and stand out from the rest. Anyone from England have any tips for me on this? What has worked for you and what should i avoid?

Some things aren't compatible with UK culture, for example using cheesy hollywood pickup lines or acting too formal in your approach (i.e hi how are you? I noticed you from over there and i just had to introduce myself, you look stunning! My name is Mark) or something to that effect. No one talks like that here.

I'm 21 just to add, and we youngers tend to talk in a more typical laidback british fashion, and the formal talk is reserved for posting online in forums such as reddit or trying to win a Facebook argument. Instead of Hi how are you? You look stunning! What are you doing today? We'd say Hi gorgeous you alright? Doing anything today?

See the difference? It's a little more laidback. Can anyone from the UK help me out on this and give me some approach and conversation pointers in this style? Thanks
