TL;DR: Very warm, successful introduction and number close. No response to offer for coffee day after.

I was at a party last night, with some good friends of mine. Although we were drunk already a friendgirl and I decided to go smoke pot. Once we potted, we lined up for the elevator and I met a very cute girl.

She noticed me noticing her, and turned to me. There was strong eye contact and she seemed really interested in me. We talked for a bit about our majors before and in the elevator. She said she liked my lighter and I complimented her outfit. We exchanged names and I said I'd talk to her next time I saw her. My friendgirl was impressed at our connection, my response, and how she kept stopping the elevator door from closing between us. She urged me to go after her and I did.

I went to the girl's floor soon after, and found her as she left her room. I invited her up to the party and she obliged. I introduced her to my friends, got her number, and kept talking. She mentioned that she hadn't even planned on coming up here and that her friends were waiting for her, we hugged, and said goodbye.

Later that night I was going to some bars with my friends, and had an impromptu interview for a bouncer gig. Her snapchat story and response to a snap I sent her made me think I recognized the bar she was at as the one I was at. Keep in mind that this was at closing time and people were filing out. I called her, then texted her saying that I think she's at this bar and that I'm available if she needs an escort home. I guessed wrong but she responded and took it well.

Cut to today, at about 6pm. I texted her saying that I was taking a study break and asked her to get Starbucks with me. No response. Nothing on her snapchat either to make think she was busy. I'm not especially torn up about this, I'm just damned confused.

From my perspective, we had a near perfect connection. One would think that the girl would jump at the opportunity to pick up where we left off. Or at least text to say she couldn't go, or she wasn't interested or etc. I'm very confused and would appreciate any ideas on how to proceed or where I might have went wrong.
